Hey guys
I've decided to start making my own ship graphics instead of stealing other people's for my mods. I don't want to start out making my own graphics from scratch, so I've taken the luminous drone and recolored it. I also attempted to give it 40 facings using gimp. I've attached the mod. The ship in game has a border, but I know why and can fix it, I've just been working on the bug I'm posting for help with first.
If you try out the ship, you will quickly realize that one frame of the ship loads weirdly. If you guys would please load the ship and give it a test, and then see if you can explain why this has happened. Thanks!
(PS: The ship code will look weird, with UNIDs and clashing bits from two mods all over the place, because I was overwriting one of my old mods)

Unfortunately this isn't what I was looking for, as I already knew everything mentioned in that post 
I've managed to fix my problem though. Some of my facings were weird, not sure why. The border problem is because I am using gimp and the fill tool leaves a sort of messy border, but I haven't removed it yet. I just mentioned it so that people didn't think it was my problem.

The standard luminous drone image already has 40 facings and a bitmask - I'd suggest just recoloring them all at once using effects and filters, then you can reuse the existing bitmask.

Wait, really? The graphics I found in the resources had 20 facings o.o
Please tell me I didn't waste those couple of hours...
