Con? I participate in a smaller group than this that has a yeary get together we call a gathering. (the ##stars! group on freenode) Usually we go camping somewhere and its usually about 7 or 8 of us. Most of use spend less than 300 but those who come from outside the country we meet in spend much more. The average age is about 27 so.. most of us have jobs etc.

Americans hide they documents about operations in Antarctica... (I like history and wwII, I know something)
Just read "Antarctica 1947" by Felipe Botaya. Really intresting book.

Wait, no, Area 51 is in Nevada. Antarctica has a few research and exploration bases but no permanent settlements. The people there spend a few weeks/months there then go home.

And anyway, Area 51 is a base to test experimental aircraft. International law says that no weapons can be built, tested, or used in Antarctica. Since Area 51 designs, builds, and tests military Aircraft, then it couldn't be in Antarctica.

The area 51 in the desert is actually a diversion for the actual area 51 which is in Antartica. They actually have a spaceport in Alaska too.

The only weapons that can be used are for defense while exploring (leopard seals, etc.). And it has worked for over 100 years. No country wants to be at odds with the UN and most countries in the world.

Then responsibility of members is low and everybody do what they want. This forum where everybody knows everybody is easiest. :|
