Hi,
The Wikipedia page for Transcendence is up for deletion and after talking to some wikipedia poeple the way to (most likely) keep the page is this:
* Find Credible sources (actual magazines)
* Don't site the original site (unless unable to do without
And what ever you do, don't flood the talk or delition page with "keep" as it will likely hurt the chances of the page being kept.
With that are there any other reviews around from magazines and similar? Non internet sources.

I probably hurts the cause if I'm the one posting this on Wikipedia, but I would point out the following:
1. All of the reviews are independent of the source.
2. 1UP is listed as a reliable source in Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia: ... es#General)
[BTW, that article on 1UP was originally printed.]
3. AOL's BigDownload (though not listed) is at least as reliable--they have paid staff and fact checkers.
4. 4Gamer.net's review of the game is not listed in the Wikipedia entry, but it is also considered a reliable source.
5. Playthisthing's review should count towards notability; it was written by Greg Costikyan (who is a professional reviewer and also notable enough to have his own entry in Wikipedia).
6. Derek Yu's review in TIGSource should also count towards notability.

Wait, are we trying to prove that Transcendence exists or what? Do they want to know if it's notable (which is BS, if you have a page for Knight Rider for the NES you can bloody well have Transcendence)?
[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad
Someone nominate the wikipedia page for wikipedia for deletion. Tell them that they're not worth referencing since college professors don't accept citations from their website.
At the very least, the flame war might distract from the potential deletion of Transcendence's page.

Looks like the process worked: they decided NOT to delete the entry.
