How exactly would we make use of a podcast?

I have an idea.
A while back on the Bethesda forums (I used to be on there), there used to be a thing called "What did you do in Daggerfall today?" (Daggerfall is one of the earlier Elder Scrolls Games) On the thread, people would post about their characters and their adventures, and I think one for Trans could be good.
People can post what they have done each day/week. Other people can read, learn about what some player's did, their choices and how that worked out, they can post what they did, make funny stories and comments and create a world of different people's stories.
I vote for it!

Ok, I was planning to host the forum seperatley, using 'privateers' idea based off the bethsada blog he mentioned. but would this be too much?

Probably a single thread for idea posting and another for discussion would be perfectly fine.

phpbb2 doesn't support subforums. And it would be a bit drastic and overkill. I mean, You don't see me making subforums for every large mod on this site...

I didn't exactly mean that, something along the lines of 'Beginners Luck' Section. Oh, that's what I meant to call it...
Just a new section on the forum where people could tell their stories, and hopefully not roleplay. XD
