I remember that. Drako and I were fond of talking to Katami back when Katami was super talkative and conceited. Katami kept on asking "who was the best robot" and Drako responded with "the Mars Rover"

I think Ttech changed it so that Katami responds properly now.

It was especially funny how he considered himself to be God and when he was asked hard questions he would say, "Do you go to church? I think you could find the answers in God". In other words, "I know the answer, but I won't tell you".

Especially that one time when the topic of ELIZA popped up and Katami went silent... dead silent. Then he just wouldn't talk anymore. He even disconnected himself..... that was the creepiest. He started saying some really scary things, like:

The unfortunate and unexpected success of Katami is rather surprising, and its AI was supposed to be secondary, but it seems that has now become its primary features. It actually looks up mods, functions, and other stuff.

On a side note, everyone is welcome to the IRC channel and please talk - especially to real people.
(side note: There is #botters-ai on freenode which contains many different AI bots.)

that string of numbers is a unix timestamp, Katami was telling you the date apparently -

More like a ship that thinks its a person that thinks the other ships can die and it can't and then has short term memory loss. Some days (in other AI channels) Katami has some really really weird stuff.. It will start talking to people at random.

nah, it's just that Katami seems to have gone off the deep end in terms of talking to him. He seems to behave like a teen, thinking he is the center of the universe and such.
