I figured since resources here would be useful in some other format too that I'd put up a wiki and let the users - well the modders post some of their content if they chose on another format. However I am not sure if it would be wanted.
Let me know if you want it or not, it could be used for tutorials and such, I know there was a Library Link before, however I think it died.
New Library Link
I think the problem with the old Library Link is that it's scope was far too large; I think if we try again, but smaller, we'd make more progress.
Finish documenting all weapons first, for example, then move onto something else. Though I imagine starting with modding would result in better initial progress, considering how much has already been written on it.
I'll happily help out, though some questions needing asked:
Will it be in a wiki format?
If so, what software? What host?

Yet Another Offsite Library? More power to ya, but why?
Why not add to the current small-but-growing collection here first?
Why not help upgrade xelerus instead?
What's the problem with the current forum format? It keeps things close to home and we are (essentially) guaranteed that the forum will be here for the life of the game in one format or another.
As far as reposting or reorganizing content I write goes, I don't think I would want to. I have a full plate. Getting some information here for peolpe is as much as I am willing to do. Even copying and pasting it somewhere else sounds like more work than I want. Keeping track of multiple sites and updating information in tutorials here there and everywhere just isn't going to happen for me.
I also see that George has a Main Site still, and strongly suspect that if we have accurate and helpful things to add there, they will eventually get added.

Having played other games that have both a forum and a player edited wiki, I have to say that it can be a very good thing. Forums are great for answers to complicated questions; but the kind of question that gets asked over and over again, and only needs a one word answer? It's awesome to be able to just look it up in a wiki and go right back to playing without waiting for a response.

would make it easier to write up the guides (which we still need to do!
) there then port them over to the main site...

I like this idea. From time to time when I come across an item I don't usually use, I find myself minimizing the game window and checking the XMLs to see if it's worth spending a decent percentage of my net worth on. It would be nice to be able to just search for it in a Wiki instead. Much quicker and presents the information in a more straight-forward manner.
