managed to find an SN2500 reactor in the wreck of a Hurin. The kytryn makes a lot more sense at this earlier level: It nukes everything, and the fact it eats through things makes it viable....ish.
It does mean lower shield capacity, but that's a small price to pay for the punching ability.
