I enjoy that feature in my games, it has killed me accidentally more times then I have shopped there. :)
(( Opinion ))
those "insane weapons " just are not for me: i think they are interesting that it can be done but does nothing to improve a game with a serious effort to deepen the experience of the player , nor increase the players' skill set to handle the encounters or motivate them to explore options in the game like commerce and mining.

Here's a few shots of my "ZombieBolt" in action and one inset shot of the "UndeadStrelkas" breaking up and the tracking fragments doing their thing.

Zombie bolt- super rapid fire, but little/no damage, other than EMP/radiation.
UndeadStrelkas- Cluttered battlefeild? No problem!

Hard time hitting your target? Not with these rapid-fire, 3-shot, omnidirectional turret mounted, intelligent homing rounds! :twisted:

Thanks, guys! Made it at least four years ago- the date modified timestamp was 2007-as a first attempt.

The Zombie Bolt graphically is actually partly adapted from the quantumshpere disintegrator.

I played with the colors until I liked them, played with the starburst spike length/count and particle count for the ParticleComet effect, and made it a rapid fire, 3-shot at a time, omnidirectional, and set the maneuverability to 1, and set the damage to = "blast:10; radiation9; device9; momentum9; EMP9"

Took some time before I settled on the effect/colors.

But yeah I think it's pretty neat too :)

Here's a few more. My autons use the graphic from those little maneuverable heliotrope buggers- one is from ones with the ZombieBolt, and another is equipped with the Remp Generator. Both attacking a Gain Processor.

Man, that's cool.... curing asthma with a monkey wrench :P

Seriously though, that effect would be cool if it can be duplicated, and toned down, and made into a supernova kind of weapon!

Maybe a proximity mine?

Could have it break up asteroids for mining, or maybe make a shield that when it is destroyed it does that - wiping out the bad guys- hopefully.

With the help of an "A" in the Arcology Traffic orders http://www.neurohack.com/transcendence/ ... f=5&t=4526, I diverted the Traffic to only active stations and Quieted down the system in the event the Arcology falls to the Rogues.
Here the Arcology got a pretty nasty beating: the worst yet : the best so far was only one standing section but wrecks protected it.
You will note the Processor clearing wrecks in this new version of Rogue Command :) the Arcology traffic tries to clear wrecks but since they are under the Arcology Sov, they are targets : the Processors are not and move faster to clear the field for the next battle .

yes: once the Rogues hit the Arcology they stop ; the CommonWealth Fleet is not far behind to take them on so there will be another battle in the near future that will generate more action.
