Location: Hmm... I'm confused. Anybody have a starmap to the Core?

Just a new mod that adds mod ships as NPC traders and crafts.
Looks great and adds to the atmosphere of the game.

Uploaded at 38 downloads. Added some text to settings.xml so players can add other ships to the game.

I must admit that I had an over-load of the ships in the screenshot for the Mod: while I like them, I did want more variety: both the standard ships + .

I am happy you made adjustments : I was going to edit the copy I have but I am trying the new Alpha so I totally forgot.

Just an idle observation....

Are these new civilian ships supposed to be a replacement or a supplement?
Because every time I use this I only ever see the "new" ships, and things like IAVs, Ronins, Sapphires etc don't appear as randoms any more.

They are supposed to be a suppliment, but I think if you dig in the .xml you can adjust the frequency of them down so that you see more vanilla ships if you want.

Yeah, I was afraid I wouldn't see any of them in game so I set a lot of them to common/uncommon but as it turns out they show up a lot more than I expected o.o
Still a nice change from Vanilla though.
If you have any suggested frequency changes just mention them ;)

This is just my humble opinion, but a good place to start with regard to frequency is to favour the vanilla ships and add a few new ones here and there for spice.
They definitely are welcome sights, though seeing Eridani with a population 100% composed of these things is a little.... Odd.

That the ships turn up more often than the xml indicates is kinda interesting though.

Reuploaded at 174 downloads.
Ok, found a bug: I forgot to add in the vanilla ships.
Fixed, and mod ships are now integrated with vanilla, so you see them *along* with vanilla ships.

 Those were all me, I’m pretty sure, getting the mod and double-checking that I hadn’t accidentally unzipped an old version. No worries. ^.~
 …The next three were me, too, downloading it once to get the mod and twice more courtesy of a browser glitch… ¬.¬;
