This is what we were able to find:

"Installation: Unzip to a folder on your computer and run Transcendence.exe. Requirements: Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, or XP SP3. 1024×600 minimum resolution; 1280×800 recommended. Compatible with WINE."

Playable via sandbox, mayhap?

Not much in the way of good infos, our apologies, though we've been actively playing for more than 25yrs.

Possibly someone else with better knowledge of the code/engine would be of better assistance...

My best Suggestion is to look up WINE to allow you to use windows programs and games like Transcendence.

Shrike goes by Song nowadays. Appreciate ppl using the forums so knowledge can be preserved in case Discord shuts down.

 If Steam can be run on a Chromebook, I’d suggest trying to play it via Proton if Wine isn’t an option.
