Correct, better shields and armor feels kinda out of the question if it can't hurt you.

I would like the Iocrym to be able to output more damage. Say damage that would be able to put a significant dent in a +150% Iocrym Veil.

Weapons, more weapons. It says that the Kyrtin equipment was all based off alien tech. I would like to see the Iocrym wield better versions of that equipment.

Since there are alien shield generators too, where did those come from? Iocrym gunships? Perhaps the gunships would be different every time (ie. Jotun, Lazaurus...)

I wish Iocrym was difficult in a different way just having to have certain devices is boring if it is the same every time.

That's exactly what i would like, and I tried to put a remedy to this with my proof of concept random iocrym mod.
But that is just a starting point.
What about a Iocrym ship that is vulnerable only to one random type of damage ? That way you would probe the iocrym until you find the correct weapon to put a dent in it.

Longhzu spheres. They're quite under-valued for their power. You can get them cheap at the trading posts, or anywhere else for that matter.

yes it is possible to order them. Ringers often sell them too.
