Don't think you can sell them to Ringers. The Teratons seem to need weapons for their "anger attacks". What? Didn't you know? The Teratons don't notice you killing other Teratons because they're psychologically damaged by all the experiments! That's why the research center really exists! Lol.

The absolute best way to get rin is to destroy the teraton stations, and sell what they have to the ringers. What I usually do is destroy Starton Eridani or any other station that sells stuff and loot it, then sell it later in the game. Unfortunately, the corporate cruiser comes, which spells doom to any unmodded ship early in the game.

just a note to beginners corporate and commonwealth are different words and different sovereigns. The corporate cruiser will never come if you kill a commonwealth station and commonwealth stations still like you no matter how many corp stations you kill. The trick is to know what belongs to the commonwealth and what to the corp.

If your ship is feeling kind of weak, the safest way to earn rins is to pester the Ferians and take their ore (just don't shoot the nest!). You can sell the ore to the Ringers.

If your ship is robust then the fastest way (short of destroying stations) is generally to take out Ranx Dreadnaughts and Ares missile ships. A Ranx Dread will almost always drop an intact Kiloton cannon, while the Ares ships will usually drop micro-nukes (and may drop an intact launcher if you're lucky). These can be sold to the Teratons. Note that the teratons will buy most class VII and above weapons (and in many cases the ammo as well).

destroying ferrian hive is the fastest way to get rins in vanilla transcendence. Blow it up with a jump drive and wait near a ringer/CSC/Tailkon/Adventurer outfitters/kobol station and watch the fun as the ferrians die. Then pick up loot from the ferrian corpses and especially the hive. If your shield is buff or if you are fast enough (you may want to use Domina sustain), you can skip the jump drive.
