With eight months left in the year? I don't think that's practical. It would mean a lot of people flooding the page as each new mod comes out. Imagine if each person could only nominate one. They nominate a mod, then another mod comes out that they think is better. They then withdraw the nomination and nominate another. Now if someone hadn't nominated the first mod because it was already nominated. The whole thing would be really, really complicated and a huge task for the admins to keep it cleaned up.

I think nominations begin once all the mods of the year are in. So maybe nominations in January, and voting in February?
