Ellrohn confederacy
The Ellrohn Confederacy is something of an enigma. One of the fledgling nations that had tried to set up shop in the barren systems which would later become known as the borderlands, they suffered an economic implosion early on, and the nation simply disintegrated, and now centuries later, they have become nothing more than a pirate organization with the same name, little more of a threat than the charon, and bearing no resemblance to a real state. They likely keep the name to fit their ego's, similar in manner to the centauri warlords, despite having an underwhelming combat force; at least compared to some of the quasi-states, let alone the legitimate governments. At any rate, they do succeed in terrorizing the country side, preying on freighters & settlements, but the commonwealth doesn't care about the boarderlands, except when it comes time to tax them (leading to a good amount of resentment there), the Coalition won't touch coalition territory, the Kaidan find it too worthless to expend energy and resources colonizing it, and pretty much everyone else is simply too remote to be bothered attempting to fill the power vaccuum in such a worthless & baren place.

I'm thinking of redoing the gaurdians (who goes in the role as the primary enemy of the Kaidan), so I'm not putting up their info yet... :/

Ansabi:
Gamplay Info:
Major Power
Use ion, positron, antimatter weapons
Focus on sciences & arts
Native Corporations: None
Friendly Neighbors: Kaidan
Primary Enemies:
Enemies: Ares, Teratons, Sung, Kobol
Supply: High technology devices
Demand: Ores, high level rare/very-rare/non-random devices, alien stuff, halo gems, high level armors, Tier 4+ weapons
Currency: Rins
The Ansabi are one of the Neo-human nations; unlike the others, they have a very small population, and thus occupy only a few systems. Their outposts and ships however are substantially more far-ranging. In contrast to the Kaidan, they have advanced reactors, capable of taking high-energy-density fuels, allowing them more freedom of movement further from home.
Aside from the sung, they are the only state to already have the technology to use antimatter weaponry (CW is currently working on it, and Dvalin can only make one for the Ranx rebellion if given the QAC or Lamplighter, or one of the Ansabit antimatter beams). The Ansabi antimatter beam is on paper the weakest of the antimatter weapons, coming in at less damage per second than either the LL or QAC. However, it compensates by shooting faster and farther than either of the other two weapons, as well as proving to be an exceptional weapon for cutting through heavily armored stations & ships. (It's a non-WMD weapon, but like the lancers, it puts out so many projectiles per second it can deal some very impressive station damage.)
Ansabi culture focuesses on science & artistry, and not the sort of science teratons like either. The Ansabi abhor the sorts of... For Science-ing that the teratons do, leading to a rather severe faux pas and a subsequent state of quasi-war between the two peoples.
While Ansabi warships are large, and there are few Ansabi, leading them to be highly automated, they have a fear of using autons or other completely independant AI's, after an incident in designing autons early on in their history.

Keep in mind these plans are still very not finallized. I'm kind of just not able to come up with plot points right now for some completely unknown & random reason, that I do plan on going back & working on their backstories much more intensively.
for now, just keep in mind the relative technology levels they hold...
anyways, you should start seeing some new ships for them popping up.
I may also do or not do the 3 enemy factions. Not sure..

I've already gotten two Ansabi turrets, and a fighter, and a projectile done. I'm going to take a break. I think I want to release a large amount of content at the same time...

Going to do either another projectile and/or a freighter today I think; tomorrow until tuesday I will be on vacation, so I will not be doing any modelling.

Ok, until I get back on monday, I will likely just be doing weapon scripting.

Here is what I have done so far; it's actually missing a small projectile graphic; I might add that in later.
Turret from another faction; I have a couple ships for them, but no backstory, and I have not uploaded said ships yet.

Ansabi EMP grenade (Excellent for disabling lower-level ships; the Ansabi freighters [small and large] use these to knock out sandstorms and the like.)

Ansabi Positron Turret: These turrets contain a single powerful positron beam; while not long ranged, it slices through most armors & sheilds

Ansabi Fleet Gunship: These Ansabi ships are the lowest of their fleet, though superior to their civilian ships. The Ansabi have no lighter military ships than this. And this... is a pretty heavy ship. It will outmatch a chasm 1 on 1; it's likely still sub-par to a brittania, if only due to the brittania being able to unleash a salvo of XM900's at the start. Still, it is a very strong design, capable of putting a lot of hurt into the forces of most other factions. (And it's better than a brittania after the brittania runs out of ammo. Though the brittania would likely still win a 1 on 1 because it has ion-resisting armor and shields, thus resisting the ion beam cannon the Ansabi gunships use)

Ansabi Ion turret: These small remotely operated defense turrets are used to protect civilian stations. They are neither fancy nor strong. They are armed with a single ion lancette apeice and can defend against intrusions by sandstorms, but would fall to any real attack force.

Ansabi small freighter: As freighters go, these guys are the EI500 of the bunch. Fast, and well defended, they sacrifice cargo space for not being squishy. Certainly, they are less armored than a super-freighter class ship, though their powerful Ansabi launchers can deter most enemies that would attack them [Ansabi EMP grenades own any of the Ares gunships, which all use level VIII or lower armor; ion charges, which are inferior to the EMP grenades against shields but do damage armor, will allow them to stay armed against higher-level enemies.]

The Ansabi launcher uses a wide variety of ammunition; the Domain ended up liking Ansabi launcher ammunition that they made their own clones of the Ansabi product lines (so similar, that the ammunition can be used interchangeably). At the ion level, there are EMP grendades, which, while amazing against ares, teraton, and rogue fleet gunships, do not disable higher-level-armor-using ships, nor even harm them. For that, there are ion charges, which are smaller, do less raw damage (thus being less effective to shields), but can damage armor. The military has access to positron ammunition as well.
There will likely be a good number of additional ammunition types it can use, but I'll figure them out later.
Remember, the balance here is still highly speculative; I havn't actually coded nor tested anything out yet, just brainstorming.
Going on vacation now, so I'll see you all later.

This is a little roadmap;
Transcendence version 1.04; TX2 milestone 1
Fully packed into modular format, include luminous (so far), centauri (& related improvements), better reactor picker, maybe the ares stuff so far, minor improvements here & there, maybe Kaidan & Ansabi
Transcendence version 1.05; TX2 milestone 2
CW fleet overhaul, kaidan, ansabi, domain, ares stuff, more luminous stuff, teraton stuff, more devices
Transcendence version 1.1; TX2 milestone 3
New topology, likely no scripts yet, but maybe they will be added in

I just noticed that the Kaidan carrier has 20 weapons on it XD (including weapons acting as place-holders till ship & projectile targeting ICX type devices can be added)
It's actually pretty closely matched w/ the Ares carrier ATM (I'll likely be giving it armor other than massive tharsis though later on when I make the Kaidan armors
) - in a battle with one (where the Kaidan carrier was already damaged to 15%), the Kaidan carrier blew up, the explosion grazing the Ares carrier, causing the ares carrier to blow up (the Ares carrier was really high in damage too)

A good amount of progress has been made so far getting all the Ansabi stuff so far in-game, including getting a number of their weapon systems coded too.

Ansabi ion charge; a small ion-damage projectile in plentiful supply used by the Ansabi launcher. The domain have a compatible variant as well.

Ansabi yacht; it's... a generic ansabi civilian vessel.

Ansabi habitat; ansabi civilian station - ATM they are far more heavily defended than they will be in the final version, given that I wanted to put in the positron turrets so that I could test to see if they would work. Likely in the final version, they will be defended at the perimeter by 3 ion lancette turrets & the 3 ion beams they have
