Well, i'd say it depends on the fame/infamy, and if there's a trial/execution.Burzmali wrote:Because 10,000 ticks is roughly 1 game week, and how long after you have had your name in the papers do you think your fame lasts?
Anyways, that's just me being pernickity. I agree with you in the long run.

George, any word on the ideas so far?
Crime are a whole different animal. They are handled fine already. The speed at which information travels is a bit odd, if it was really that fast, why can't I call stations remotely? Information on crime is instant, but why can't I pay a station a few credits to get a manifest of their goods?
My preference would be to leave crime as it is, with the ratings I mentioned determining what options are available to you at a given instant.

1) i didn't really notice a problem with it in my first playthrough.
2) mabye if you had some super freighter escort missons? they could let you face more powerful enemies without special equipment to destroy the incoming ships.
3) mabye show off some mechanics used for later missons somehow.
4) improve fortress spawn rates. you could also garuntee one in the system right after St. Kathrines. i think current mechanics could do that, and you could change them if they don't. if you have the factions attack eachother that will create loot piles.
5) make them tougher too.
6) some mods are not supported by current mechanics. if you add some good mechanics to improve mods even without impelmenting them that would be cool.
the ares need more varity, as do the Commonwealth. if you want to keep adding new stations, enlarge systems or increase density.
