Serious battle
Talk about your serious battles. I come back to a system that I was saving up rins for to buy some taikon stuff. 2 taikon dealers are destroyed, surrounded by like.. 6 or 7 gaian processors and maybe 15 - 20 ventari destroyers. Also in the mix are a bunch of centauri x and get this.. one dead corporate cruiser. Of the entire time I've played transcendence, I've never seen one outside of destroying a friendly base. I got more loot now than I know what to do with, and I can't spend any of it because all the taikons in this system are dead. :b

Very nice. It's always fun to see what the AI does while you're away.
I say a dead corporate cruiser in my last game also...killed by a Dreadnaught. It was kind of a 'oh crap what have I gotten myself into I'm gonna die I'm gonna die' moment.

Ok but tell me how you know for sure it was killed by a dreadnaught?
Serious Battles?
I think it was back in Verion .96 or around there. And It was one of my first games and a commonwealth station was constantly under siege by swarms of Charon Pirates, and Huron Missile Ships. Pretty awesome watching them though.
Otherwise, going to one of the later systems and finding a dead/unlooted settlement, and making ungodly amounts of credits off the high level loot I didnt keep, and a dead Taikon Ventures (More loot..)
But the first time attacking a Ranx Dreadnought, freaky stuff. Weapons barely scratched it, kept firing that Kiliton Cannon (Or something like it) and tearing my shield to pieces, but thankfully I managed to escape. ^_^

Nathan person, could you please spell-check before you post? I dont mean to be rude but trying to read what you post is giving me a headache.
But otherwise for serious battles, 5 Dwarg Colonys all in a small cluster with a huge swarm of the raiders and a good amount of those Dwarg masters. Too many to fight, even with an Mammoth 100MW shield and awesome Holochroal armor.

well it hurts my eyes trying to read that small print,im not old its just i cant see well.5 dwarg colonys and having those dwarg masters all around msut be pretty annoying. i would first jsut take out the masters then go for colonys as u get more ships.
Ive tryed, but its just too much. Even though my shields resist the Ion damage from the masters, the dozens of projectiles from the raiders take my shield down.Nathan wrote:well it hurts my eyes trying to read that small print,im not old its just i cant see well.5 dwarg colonys and having those dwarg masters all around msut be pretty annoying. i would first jsut take out the masters then go for colonys as u get more ships.
