Multiple Molotoks at the rigel BM station results in a ridiculous difficulty spike [realDifficulty=intendedDifficulty*(Molotoks^2)]

Yes, TOTALLY a ridiculous difficulty spike. I also got some weird bug that appeared to be related to this; eventually a number of ships, including two copies of KM's ship, appeared out of nowhere stuck against the perimeter of the A.

Those other hips may have been standard corporate cruisers.

The molotok bug is fixed in 1.02 btw, which s avaliable for download only on the forums.
