Shields idle power consumption

I was scripting some shield generator and came across the following inconsitency:

The Shield devices-wiki page says the idle power use defaults to 10% of the value specified in the 'powerUse' attribute.

When I look at the in-game power consumption, I get the strong feeling that non-recharging shields consume 50% of the specified 'powerUse' value.

So, is the wiki outdated? or are the shields default-idle-power consumption bugged?

The wiki is wrong (likely due to cut-and-paste from weapons). Default idle power use for shields is 50% as you observed.
