You know what would be really cool in the future? Merchandise. Like models for ships, little trinkets like small helium fuel rods, that sort of thing. You know, standard fare. I don't think it would be too hard to have a few things like that, though I'm not saying you should do something like this instantly, just that it would be a cool thing to have in the future. I mean, it would be cool if you had a 3D printer and made a few models, but I'm just tossing ideas out there. It would also work as real-world advertising too!

I would be interested too, but the problems are 1) the graphics are subject to change (the EI freighter line, Centuri raider and the ICS has its design changed as the game developed.) 2) I have no idea how much effort it would take to maintain an online store and the cost of producing physical merchandise and would it make enough money to cover the costs.
I would really like a pen(cil) in the likeness of a fuel rod, though. Maybe one of these day I will get around trying to make one.

I would (if the price if reasonable enough) definitely be in the market for the Wolfen-class gunship or even the Osaka as a miniature. Just a nice something to put on my desk and have colleagues ask questions about

Manticore keyring. …Yup. Alternately, baseball cap with either a Corporate or Korolov emblem.

I don't think it would take too much effort to have a few pieces for sale. I mean, plenty of both small and big time youtubers have their own shops for things like this. And even if George doesn't do this, perhaps he could make a few 3d models for use with 3d printers and put them as bonus content for buying a beta expansion or something.
Do average people own 3D printers now? I didn't know they were affordable. And even if George doesn't do this, perhaps he could make a few 3d models for use with 3d printers and put them as bonus content for buying a beta expansion or something.
I looked into getting one and they were running around $500 for a small 3d printer.
