I've just released 1.8 Beta 3. This version contains mostly bug fixes and API features, though it does add various minor enhancements. This version will download automatically if you have any of the 1.8 betas (and are signed in). Otherwise, please download at: https://downloads.kronosaur.com/TranscendenceNext.zip

Fixes: https://ministry.kronosaur.com/program. ... ed&tag=102
API 42 changes: https://ministry.kronosaur.com/record.hexm?id=80464

CC, EP, and VotG have also been updated, mostly with minor bug fixes.

Thanks to everyone who found bugs and suggested fixes--I truly appreciate it. As always, let me know if you find any bugs or have any comments/suggestions.

I like the new repeatingDelay. Updated few of my mod weapons already.

Drake Technologies (Alpha): More hardware for combat in parts 1 and 2!
Godmode v3 (WIP): Dev/cheat tool compatible with D&O parts 1 or 2.
Download and Play in 1.7...
Star Castle Arcade: Relive classic arcade gaming in a new Transcendence adventure!
Playership Drones v7 (Beta): (OUTDATED!) Acquire and command almost any ship in Stars of the Pilgrim or Eternity Port.
Work in progress... Playership Drones v8: On hiatus!

The TransData that works for beta 2 still works for beta 3, at least for decompiling.

You can thank Heliogenesis for that one.

I made a critical fix and released 1.8 Beta 3.1. It should update automatically the next time you sign in to the game.

Games created with 1.8 Beta 3 are not good, unfortunately. Please restart a game with 1.8 Beta 3.1. [You can tell the create version if you bring up stats (F2) for the game.]

It’s oddly fitting that Shrike and I, notorious partners in crime, wound up on the same page of the Special Thanks. Now I’m actually sort of curious whether that was deliberate or not, heh.

It's alphabetical by last name (at least for the current members), but it's a good coincidence.

Just uploaded 1.8 Beta 3.2!

I wanted to fix the Freyr bug since that's a major regression too. The Freyr weapon was not firing straight if it had no target.

Hi guys:

Got a bug on my sav, hoping I might be able to salvage this save as things were just getting good (I had just killed the kronosaurus!). Volkov got himself killed and I self destructed to try and get him back (had big plans for him). Upon loading I receive an error:

09/15/2018 20:58:26 All resources downloaded.
09/15/2018 20:58:27 Unresolved object: e264
09/15/2018 20:58:27 Games\Snow+i-1010.sav: System 7: Undefined object references
09/15/2018 20:58:31 End logging session.

Attaching both the debug file and the .sav.

I can also provide in .zip (2.6mb wouldn't let me attach) or uncompressed @ 11mb

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I probably should have read the whole thread before posting.

I think my save is a 3.0 - this mean I'm SOL?

Thanks for the options on objHas/RemoveItem. That'll make working with items much easier.
And a thanks to NMS for the objSet/GetProperty 'explored contribution. Already tried it out. It works great.

New Corporate shipyard looks excellent. Images that use thin transparent girder-like parts always look good, but I suspect they take a bit of making!
