Wreck Surfing

Anyone else tried this?

1) Find a wreck
2) Hit the wreck with your fast dual Flenser
3) Quickly hit D to dock with the moving wreck
4) Resume firing
5) Ride the wave until the wreck disintigrates
6) Rinse and repeat

Its a fun way to keep the area clear of wrecks. Works on smaller wrecks only. I thought it would be fun to try this on an abandoned cargo canister - hmm, turns out they disintigrate after all. Sorry family of refugees...

You'd think there would be consequences for this kind of diabolical behaviour...

But there isn't...

In my defence, the first time I tried this with a cargo crate, I thought they were indestructable and was surprised when I blew it up - I thought I could ride it across the solar system.

I have no defence at all for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Cargo Crates of refugee families I obliterated with my Dual Flenser (fast), I was just being rude.

LOL, I think it's funny that if you dock again it will say
"You are docked at an abandoned cargo crate. There is a family of refugees living here."

Personally I think you should be able to steal their family heirlooms at this point.

...and with a targeting ROM installed and the crate targeted, you can actually see the damage percentage increasing per hit.

And why can't we have the option to steal the refugee's as slaves?

after I dock with something, and loot it, I usually dispose of the evidence that it ever happend. Like the sung slaver camps... I dock, get the slave coffins, and run. I usually sell them at the black market too. I'm such a bad-boy

Are you selling slaves? you can't dock iwth a commonwealth station if you did

you can't? I haven't really docked with Common Wealth stations lately... I keep using Black Market shipyards.

The Commonwealth doesn't seem to like slave traders. I don't know WHY, they just don't.
