Most posts on this board are by the same few people with everyone else just reading. With polls we can at least see what the opinions of the non posters are. If they like an idea or what they see as the best.

some examples:
Do you think that the starting systems are too hard/easy ?
Which one is the faction that gives you the creep every time ?
Do you want to see the Ferians (or whatever) take a more important role in the main story ?
Do you hate more Lord Mikho or Admiral Decker ?
Do you want more weapons/shields/armors/usable items ingame ?
Do you like to have more scripted missions or you prefer the instant action like the "Centauri occupied base" ?
Why the Ringers buy weapons from the Ares ?
Why the Ranx make deals with the Resiermesser ?
Why NAMI don't build lasers ?
What the Sisters do with all the Luxury and Drugs they collect ?
Why the Ares know every time which route a superfreighter takes ?

What I mean is, in the readme file, link to either some important polls, or a polls forum. That way, the people that actually read the readme might go and give their opinions in the form of voting in polls.
