if the iocrym ship gets hit w/ it's shields down by a disrupter, and w/ all those hitpoints it's likely to get hit alot so that disinitgrator gun is likely to misfire and disintigrate itself. The iocrym ship should be disintigration immune.

I definetly agree. I once messed up a save by hitting the disintigreater for the command ship, then realized that I couldn't complete the game. needless to say, I was bumbed.

If you drop a bar of soap on the ground, is it dirty?
If a person is legally blind, and can suddenly see, is he breaking the law?
If a friend says he's going outside to get some air, what was he breathing before?

Yeah, that happened to me once, really annoying.
I think the Iocrym should still be able to die by it's own hands, but we should still be able to get the rod - maybe when it gets disintegrated (or just dies) a special cargo crate containing it comes out the back? (which you then dock with, use, etc.)

that's what i was thinking of doing, though putting the rod in some other thing is workable too... i think...digdug wrote:as a workaround it's possible to add disintegrationImmune="true" to the iocrym armor.

I have a mod taht does that plus a few other things. As it does not make sense that they are not imune to their own weapons misfire.

I hope george sees this... could be a pretty fatal bug in some casesTtech wrote:digdug wrote:as a workaround it's possible to add disintegrationImmune="true" to the iocrym armor.
