Some game questions -
1. How to identify all the stuff like barrels, rom bios etc? Is using them the only way? Some of the weapons and shields I find have only power MW and description and no actual numbers while some have them. How is this decided? I can see the numbers only when I install them in the ship.
2. Any way to remap the keys? Is it planed for future versions?
3. How to make money? I am really finding it difficult to make any money in the beginning. I see some great armor and weapons but I cant buy them. I did some shipping escort missions but is there anything else?
Thanks.

You can not identify stuff like barrels, roms, and crystals without using them in the vanilla game but once you do that item will be identified.1. There are some roms that fill in the numbers for the unidentified weapons and such but as you play more you will not need them (they stay fixed from game to game)
Sorry no but there has been people asking for it so who knows what will happen in future versions (other than George of course)2. Any way to remap the keys? Is it planed for future versions?
Most people make most of there money by selling stuff they find. There are also trade routes so if you pay attention you might find one. There is also mining.3. How to make money? regarding the barrels/roms/etc, some can be identified by where they are sold. There is a certain rom that is the only rom sold at fuel stations, so if you see an unknown rom at a fuel station, you know that it must be that particular rom.
as for 2. the game does not support it, but autohotkey can intercept your keypresses, and send different keys to the game, effectivly changing controls, don't forget to close it when done or it will mess up typing.

What where did you get that idea? I said there was a way to identify weapons and shields (and armors) there are several roms that do that for you.dead3r wrote:So there is no way to identify items? Imo it does not make sense that when buying weapons from arms dealers, i can only see the level and power ratings.
I also said once you know the name of an item you know all of its stats, some have enhancements but you know those when buying. (there are no hidden enhancements)

when you install a weapon, device or armor, it get identified
as Betel said, there are roms that do that for you.
btw you're not supposed to know the details of restricted or military high level weapons, don't you think so ?
it's a rogue-like game, you're supposed to buy the stuff, and try it for yourself.
