I just had one of the best openings:
-I got mining upgraded right away
-Got a high quality thruster
-Upgraded to 100w
And most impressive of all... BLAST plate was available.
I bought 2 pieces right away and used E's Ablative Coating to get particle neutrality and laser immunity.
I scavanged for about 10 minutes getting more ore to sell.
When I finally return to the Armour shop... BAM game crashed.
Anyways. It happens more often then not; enough so that I avoid "window shopping".

Sidenote:
The intro demo seem to have been improved. I just watched about a dozen Ronin/C's chasing a single Viking and couldn't hit it.
