The TeV 9 is, as it's name suggest a particle beam with collision energy of 9 TeV.

The Large Hadron Collider is a 7 TeV particle beam (protons).
Wikipedia says:
Meanwhile, the total energy carried by the two beams reaches 724 MJ. This is equivalent to the detonation energy of 173 kilograms (380 lb) of TNT

the beam pipes contain 1.0×10-9 grams of hydrogen, which, in standard conditions for temperature and pressure, would fill the volume of one grain of fine sand
So an immense energy of 173 Kg of TNT is contained in the volume of 1 grain of sand.

So the 9TeV will have an energy of 930MJ or 222 Kg of TNT in a very small volume.
It means that the particle beam cuts through an armor like a hot knife through butter !

Any thought ?

no wonder it's so strong then... makes me wonder how armor holds up.

Actually i've never had much use for the Tev9, I usually try to get the lancer cannon. Slap a few particle source upgrades and a longzhu sphere on that and it's better than the Tev9 IMO, the Tev9's fire rate is too slow for me.

I usually skip right past Tev9's though and go right to ion weapons (katana +fast has an awesome rate of fire- 10 per second!)

I love lonzhu spheres and luminous. Get seven or eight lonzhu's and destroy a bunch of drones. Pick up all the damaged ion weapons and you'll be in the black for several systems to come :D

I usually save one for myself and sell the rest. That's a good way to make lots of rins.
