problem with 0.97

When I trying start game, I have this problem.

I have the same problem.

My system: Windows XP Home (czech version), service pack 2
Athlon 64 3000+
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-K8NE (nForce4-4x chipset)
Graphic card: Gigabyte GV-RX30S128D (ATI RADEON X300SE)
512MB RAM
Sound: Realtek AC97 (integrated to the motherboard)

Make sure you don't have any MODs installed. George did a LOT of changes to the way the game reads the XML files. It's a good bet that some mods will need to be updated/patched before they will work on 0.97.

Yeah, i'm gonna go through all of my mods and update them. (Man, this is gonna take a while!)

I have no mods/extenzions instaled, and problems remains.
I tryed delete whole directory, and instal (copy) from zip - and not works.

Edit : Yugi, you can see in my first post problem has happend earlier than reading any extension.

Edit 2 : Yugi, my fault, I wrote Yugi and think SparcMan.

Czert and Enthropy, please try the following:

Download:

http://www.neurohack.com/public/Trans097_Debug.zip

Copy the enclosed Transcendence.exe file to your Transcendence folder and try running again. Then, please send me the Debug.log file that it generates (email to [email protected])

I'm hoping that will narrow it down. Thank you.

That's o.k. I have a legitimate version of windows. I'd prefer to get any Microsoft upgrades directly from Microsoft.

I have directx8 and haven't had any problems running Transcendence .97
Still I guess getting directx9 couldn't hurt.

Instaled latest DX drivers and dont hepl.
Debug 3 send to George 3 days ago. He thing is corrupted DB of trans and sen new, but this dont hepl.

Mayby I reinstal windows, but only as last hope.
