power cost question

The current ship I'm doing uses ore as a missile weapon (rail gun).. and I'm wondering.. is there any way to make it so that the power costs are dependent upon the missile, rather than a set value? or possible a way to tack on additional power costs ?

oh.. and as a side thing.. what exactly does the attribute, armorshield, do?

Umm... try looking at the code for the alien shield (it's in stdshields.xml) with the variable power input.

armorshield is the minimum number of HP a shield dependant on hull strength can have at full charge. shields like the hull plate ionizer use this.
