F50: that brings up another pet peeve -- view distance. I'd really love to be able to see further away. AFAIK, by the time a Slaver shows up on my screen, I'm in cyberattack range. Sure, I can constantly do a paranoid cycle through targets in scanner range, but that's no way to live. Maybe a warning system (an upgrade ROM?) that bleeps when you're close to cyberattack range? Or a similar thingummy that tells you when an opponent *starts* a cyberattack, which will fail if you get far enough away before they finish? Hrm...

Or we can put a shield which is cyberattack immune... until the shield is gone...

The Superconducting shield is already immune to the Shieldsdown cyberattack because it runs primarily on physical superconducting coils rather than reactor power.

Yeah! Dosgamer3 is right!

I think the QAC should be lvl 10 instead of lvl 9...

Now, to make a certain item, shield, weapon etc. immune to EMPs, youy simply add the EMPImmune= "true" tag.

I couldn't pull off killing the iocrym with a plasma cannon until I weakened its shield in the XML. The regen is too high otherwise.
