I would be DGGG my UNID, I'm Little Modder. Please!
That UNID is impossible, due to it not being in Hexadecimal:

Code: Select all

UNID Codes can be from
0xD000 to
0xEFFF
Transcendence uses Hexadecimal numbers in many areas. To be a good modder you should familiarize yourself with what is expected.
Whose UNID is D923 ?
If it ain't on this UNID List we don't know (and generally don't concern ourselves with REBEL [ermm.. indie] modders).
He logged as me and uploaded a mod with this UNID on xelerus!!!! This isn't fair! I am not nervous when someone uses my UNID, but this!!
Easy there, killer. Let me break this down for you a little:
George Moromisato, Neurohack.com, and these dear Transcendence Forums have nothing to do with the ownership or manangement of Xelerus.de. Complaining here about what happens on that site won't get you anything except another boring lecture from me or the other moderators. Please use the links provided on xelerus.de to contact the site administrator about your concerns.

I happen to know for a fact that the administrators of that site do their utmost to prevent the misuse and abuse of the services that they provide for the transcendence community. If you feel you have a legitimate problem please notify them using the proper channels of communication, thanks. :)

Now pick a valid UNID and go do something fun- such as modding transcendence!

It's all yours, to use and abuse, in versions present or future, as long as the database shall last, as far as I can tell... :)

TMU will use the above thread as the official UNID registry
I will keep it in synchronization with this thread (to the best of my abilities)

NOTE: however, there is one critical difference: in TMU's database, I am using both:
0xD314 (other mods)
0xE314 (TX2)

:D
It's actually so much better to have all my UNIDs organized like that: why? since TX2 has them all organized sort of like George did, but my other mods mostly do them sequentially, so the level of conflict chances are very high.

Anyways, once I figure out how to read the page source (via C#), that's the thread TMU will use.

It might make sense for big mods to be allowed to have their own UNID range. TX2 is the first big mod to make it to this point, but there will probably be others in the future.

This is especially true if any large collaborative mods happen.

I'll be taking over 2 more UNIDs sometime, since I've started making SLC (or Project Orion Agito).
