As some of you know I have a TransData Utility that I am working on.
For the creation of Item and Encounter Tables I am trying to implement the /criteria:xxx switch.

For the Encounter table the example is +enemy
From that I got +Military +illegal +Backmarket (and of course -xxx as well)

then in transcendence.xml bellow line 5504 the item modifiers listed are:

MODIFIERS

	Alien						Item is not found in Human Space
	AntiMatter					Item is involved in AntiMatter industry
	Auton						Item is an auton
	BlackMarketID				This is a black market ID
	Bushido						Item is sold by Bushido corp
	Food						Item is human food or drink
	Fuel						Item is starship fuel
	HaloGem						Item is a halo gem
	ID							Item is an ID
	Illegal						Item is illegal in Human Space
	Info						Item consists of digital information
	Lux							Item is human luxury good
	Makayev						Item is sold by Makayev corp
	Meds						Item is human medicine
	Military					Item is restricted to military in Human Space
	MilitaryID					Item is a military ID
	Missile						Item is ammo or missile
	Nuclear						Item is involved in nuclear industry
	Rasiermesser				Item is sold by Rasiermesser corp
	Res							Item is a resource needed for industry
	RingerValuable				Item is used by Ringers
	Soul						Item contains (possibly dormant) intelligence of HIG III or above
	Specialty					Item is not a commodity; for sale only in specific stations
	ZeroPoint					Item is used in Zero-point energy industry

	Consumable					Item is consumable (missiles/ammo/treasure)
	MajorItem					Device/Shield/Weapon
	MinorItem					Armor/Enhancements
but I feel that their have to be more and also some that are more used than others so If the community can help me with categories for either Items or Encounters it would be a great help.

What about modifiers added by modders?
I have created new modifiers for my some of my mods as I know others have.
Will your utility be compatible with these modifiers? Is there a way for users to add their modifiers at a later time?

At the moment the utility (in the latest unreleased version) allows you to select some of the more common options (enemy, military...) and also allows text based entry of other less common modifiers.
The utility will be rewritten in python or something else VB possibly to get it into a format where a GUI is possible.

Have you seen what I've been making? [look in the shipyards: it's the mod-manager thread]
and then I went to your mod manager thread which is here.

And as far as I know your goals don't cross over with mine in that I'm making a text based (and eventually a GUI) Utility that just makes TransData easier to run and find all of the options available to a user. And your Mod manager is just that a manager for our mod's (and I'm pretty sure I need one).

So is someone else making a TransData Utility? Because a brief search tells me that no one has posted anything about one.
