Basically, this s a hunt for various components of mods and references made within version 1.0

Here's some that have been mentioned on IRC to get started
1) A gladiator named Betelgeuse
2) A gladiator who's first name is HAdes (coincidence? it's not as good of a match as above)
3) a number of wolf-themed names of gladiatiors not flying wolfens... (also a coincidence or not?)
4) IM90 uses the same mas inrease as atarlost's does
5) st.k's is roomy, circular, centered aroud a main structure, has a monument to another civilization, and offers militia services... sound familiar?

Can you find any more?

No, not really. I'm assuming you're talking about some sort of building in the UK.

No, it's totally new.

SUPER EPICALLY SPOILEROUS SPOILERS BELOW:

It's used to counterhack the iocrym AI so that you can retrive the data it's gaurding.

I thought there was a random ROM that was something like "A ROM biochip labelled "Neurohack 127" Or something.

Nope, sorry, you're right.

that may have been an unknown rom type, but it's a different item completely. (a virtual unknown type to boot)

I did a search for "neurohack" through all the versions of Transcendence I have, and prior to 1.0rc1, the only reference to "neurohack" was the reference to the website in Transcendence.xml.

Game needs more easter eggs. Transcendence is, quite frankly, boring as hell. It'd be nice if I had some things to keep me entertained...

maybe you're not doing it right...

Considering I haven't touched any of my store-bought games in over 8 months I'd say George has done an amazing job.

In my opinion at least. I'm a puzzle sort of guy, a game with no puzzles seems rather unentertaining. Puzzles or jokes.

EDIT:

Maybe I said that wrong. Most of the game is boring as hell, it's fun in chunks. There's a lot of flying around and shooting at things in between the interesting bits (which are, admittedly, also flying around and shooting things but there it feels like I'm getting something done...)

If you find combat boring and like puzzles and jokes there's an entire genre of sierra knockoffs.

For those of us who find that genre senseless don't try to change the games that aren't like that.

Well, no, I'd just like a bit more interesting combat. I just played the game for a while and managed to take down an Abbassid Outpost which I normally shouldn't have stood a chance against by hiding behind a wreck where its laser array couldn't hit me and firing on it with my omni laser cannon for a while with autopilot on. Stuff like that is nice, being able to use clever tricks to get the upper hand. I like my Damage Absorbing Shields a lot because it offers a tactical aspect to the game, switch your shields out for a Kinetic absorber before taking out those Centauri warlords and you're practically invincible unless something with a laser shows up for the party, in which case you're done for. Brains over brawn makes the game a lot more fun (and a lot easier, during said game I managed to get killed approximately thirty times) for me.

So you favor the retention of exploits that make the game far easier than it would be if it had better AI.
