Pterevores

I've been wondering for a while......exactly what is the effect of pterevores? And by how much do they affect you?

I've had exactly TWO hit me....due to my tactic of spray-n-pray with an IFC (which I adopted after those two hit me when i was using an Ion Lancer before finding the IFC)....but I know they are really nasty little buggers.....just...how bad?

they suck down your fuel (1 pteracnium fuel rod per second, I think), and occasionally do damage.

You're in pretty big trouble if you run your ship into a swarm of them. But unless you're flying up to a nest fat and happy after you've destroyed it, that's unlikely. If you do, though...goodbye fuel.

it's worse when they damage your devices, it's like Ventari, but they skip shields

Seconded....especially coupled to the incredibly annoying habit og the death spawns NOT STOPPING for ages.....

Thank god i've never had more than 2...
