I'm also annoyed by the fact that if you have, say, enough ore for 3 segments of ceralloy armor, and 2/3rds of what's needed for the next....the tinker will take *all* your ore.

Hmm, that fix might be easy enough to be my first mod.

Good idea.....it works for every custom job except XM900s (which of course only need 1 fusion trigger each)
....it should give you an option on how many you want, and refund the excess material.
Curudan wrote:Not quite. When you select the item to do custom work on, it will ask you how many you want them to work with.
I agree that the current interface is a little rough and needs work, but you don't have to waste items if you know what you are doing.
I thought it said 'We can turn your X "insert name here" into Y "insert name here". Do you want us to this?"....and didn't give a choice on numbers.....
I know it becomes second nature to select all of something for purchase/sale/tinkering... but it is possible and has been possible since I can remember, not just 1.01. Keep offering less stuff until you are offered one less item in return... then you know exactly how much you need and offer THAT much.
But if you find a way to change this it'd still make a good mod.
