Here are my thoughts:

1. Later versions (post 1.04) will have a galactic map in which topology nodes are shown on an xy grid. It might be better if you designed your extension without an interstellar jump-drive first and add it later when the galactic map shows up.

2. I thought part of the appeal of the sandbox project was that it could more or less work with existing technology. It sounds to me (based on the ticket) that the project has morphed into something more ambitious.

There is nothing wrong with that.

But you should consider whether the project might have a better chance of success if you start small and simple and work up from there. My advice to you is that you get to a playable and fun state as soon as possible and add features from there.

Of course, it is likely that that is exactly what you are doing already. If so, ignore my ranting.

It is infact what we are doing
I'm fine with waiting for the features to be implemented, and since I'm the one programming it...

So no rush. We have a gate topo too, which is quite integral in travel; in fact, a special gate system is what keeps one of the main factions in power, by allowing them to control the gates to the major systems, shortcutting lots of the intermediate systems in between.

I want to make an art on canvas and I am looking for a blank art canvas. I was wondering if it is possible for me to make one from plywood instead of canvas. Which would be better? I need something cheap because my budget quite low. I have no idea where to get blank art canvases that aren't too costly. Please help me with real information. Thank you.
