Thanx. I was just wondering if i could change my wingman's arms and armour and if so, how do i do it? I've got the mods, but i still don't know how to do it. Any possibility of some help?

I haven't used that mod, quite personally, but I believe you have to [C]ommunicate with the wingman, tell him to [W]ait, and then go over a dock with him, like you would a station. Have you been able to do that yet?

But I haven't used any wingmen mod's yet myself, so I'm not 100% sure.

Thanx for welcoming me :). I have tried docking with my wingmen but it only allows me to install my armour and weapons not theirs, but thanx any way :-)

What is the mod you're using? I'll try it out to see what you mean...

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for mod related questions, but if you're using the Upgradable Wingmen mod, you need to order your wingmen to dock at a station, then dock with them to transfer and install items.

It does. ;)

I know it sounds stupid, but did you check the instructions from the download page?
It says:
1. dock with the ship to be upgraded
2. jettison the stuff to be installed or used
3. select the "let me fly" option
4. upgrade as you would normally
5. press u twice (use an item on your ship) to return to your original ship when done

Im terribly sorry if i am giving you a headace, but the docking station does not seem to work, it too only lets of do my own armour, but i will try that mod you suggested. Is it possible for you to give me a direct link to the mod? My internet is running SUPER slow today. And thanx anyway?

Which mod have you downloaded, and have you actually installed it?

There are two version of the upgradable wingmen mod on Xelerus.

2.4.b

3 RC3

For each one of these the instructions are very different.

If you are using 2.4.b, make sure you are docking on the wingmen to install the equipment.

If you are using 3 RC3, I don't really understand the problem.

v2.4.b requires at least 1.0 to work, and v3 requires at least version 1.02.
