But the surface of the CSC looks smooth and glossy (we can even see the reflections of those Centurions). If there is no artificial gravity there nor is it made of ferrous material, then I am thinking that probably the Centurions have some sort of suction cups underneath (that works in vacuum, if that is possible, but who knows :roll: ).

For the small ships, we can have soft magnetic pads underneath the soles of the human crews.

Suction cups do not work in a vacuum; they only stick because of the air pressure differential.

I did some crazy calculations to work out how fast these stations would need to spin, using the formula:
N = ((CG/R)^-2)/2pi

Where
G = Earth's gravity, 9.80665 m/s/s (meters per second per second)
C = The fraction of Earth's gravity you want, I'm assuming 0.5 like George said.
R = The radius of the station, I'm randomly assuming 100 meters as this seems big enough to hold most things I can think of.
N = How dizzy you need to be, in revolutions per second.

WARNING: REALLY LONG NUMBERS INCOMING, YOU MAY EXPLODE
So, 9.80665*0.5=4.903325/100=0.04903325^-2=0.22143452756966335397976048950246/2pi=
0.035242399633930499893675966509914 revolutions per second, multiply by 60 to get
2.1145439780358299936205579905948 revolutions per minute, which is much slower than I expected. It would probably still make you dizzy, though.

100 meters is tiny for larger stations like the metro or ring stations. They are significantly larger. (Especially the metro stations)
