This statement is a lie.

Actually, i can clap with one hand, so that's not that paradoxical. :3 It is very quiet, though, in comparison.

Less is more.

A father and his son are driving down the road. The car crashes into a tree and the father is killed. The boy is rushed to the nearest hospital where he is prepared for emergency surgery. On entering the surgery suite, the surgeon says, "I can't operate on this boy. He's my son."

Here's a math example:

a = x [true for some a's and x's]
a+a = a+x [add a to both sides]
2a = a+x [a+a = 2a]
2a-2x = a+x-2x [subtract 2x from both sides]
2(a-x) = a+x-2x [2a-2x = 2(a-x)]

Regardless of it being division by zero, it still is a paradox: A falsidical paradox, to be precise.

Less is more.

'Less is more' is a contradiction, not a paradox. A sentence paradox is a sentence which makes itself true if it is false, and false if it is true. Therefore it is both true and false. The surgeon one has a solution, it is a riddle, not a paradox. The surgeon is the boy's mother.
The sandwich is very clever, but not a paradox. A similar process is this:

Proof that women are all evil:
To keep a woman, you must spend both time with them and money for gifts for them: T(time)+M(money)=Women. But the more time you spend, the more money you spend in proportionate amounts, or TxM=Women. As we know, time is money. Therefore you have MxM=Women, or Women=M^2. We all know that money is the root of all evil on earth, or M=sqrtE(evil). We then know that M^2=E. Because Women=M^2, we are forced to conclude that M^2=Women=Evil, or Women=All Evil on Earth.

It is a process. The math problem is a paradox though, because any number should work as both A and X, because A=X and all the subsequent problems just rewrite that.

1. A seemingly contradictory statement that may nonetheless be true: the paradox that standing is more tiring than walking.
2. One exhibiting inexplicable or contradictory aspects: "The silence of midnight, to speak truly, though apparently a paradox, rung in my ears" (Mary Shelley).
3. An assertion that is essentially self-contradictory, though based on a valid deduction from acceptable premises.
4. A statement contrary to received opinion.

If you move your hand at superluminal speeds, you can place it into its own past path, thus have allowing you to clapped with one hand, unless by diding so, you are have will preventinged yourself from clappeding with one hands.
