if you are talking about updating the version on the download page, there is a reason for it being 1.01, 1.01 is stable 1.06a is beta, more likely to have bugs in it

the Gen. is correct, it does look less like the Transcendence we have come to know.....

Looking at it today...it is great, but we know for a fact that Transcendence has more depth and life to it.
While good enough to bait us into the most awesome game ever created........it's more functional then expressive.

While I enjoy the other versions, nothing truly beats the official game in putting you to the feel and enjoyment of the game like George's official releases have.

However, to get the page updated, knowing the subject is more Artistic expression to add to the existing functionality, I think George would have to call in the troops to submit idea copies for review and what parts are accepted might be pieced together......that could take weeks if not months of design evaluations and where is Anyone going to find the time?

If you want some of the content to be updated, perhaps try working on content in the Wiki - and it might get used on the site. AT the very least it helps the community resources.

You'd need to get okay'ed by Gambit to work on the wiki, so make sure to stop by IRC and get your wiki account approved beforehand

If your content is good enough, George might just add it (that's how the content got there in the first place -it was unofficial Trans Forums stuff IIRC )
