What should the official name of the Transcendence scripting language be? Tscript (tscript), Tlisp (tlisp) or TransLISP (translisp)?
This question was raised on IRC day and we ended up agreeing on making a poll. Cast your votes or propose an alternative!

Can tlisp be be the shorthand for TransLISP?
I like using tlisp but I had always thought it was shorthand for TransLISP....

tlisp - its fast to write out
I suppose. Normally I just abbreviated transcendence directly down the T though.

"Tlisp" seems to have the most votes so far, which works for me.
I think it helps to have the word "lisp" in there because at some point I might come out with a C-syntax version which we would then want to call "Tscript" or something.
[p.s.: The new execution runtime that I'm working on for the server is called "Hexe" which (following computer science tradition) is an infinitely recursive acronym that stands for "Hexe EXecution Environment".
Hexe is a syntax-independent byte-code interpreter. I've written a Tlisp compiler for it, but I can also write a C-syntax compiler. And at some point even further down the line I will move Hexe to the Transcendence engine so we can take advantage of its capabilities, not the least of which is that it is about twice as fast.]

I like tlisp, personally, and I agree with George and the others.
I just wanted to point out that there is already a dialect of lisp, albeit minor, called Tlisp.
Actually, there are three of them: a variant of TOPS-20 by Nathaniel Mishkin, tinyLISP and TLISP from the University of Waterloo.
