Ok, finished with my turn. Several things to note:
1. The autons are getting further away. I left them ~3 systems ago and I don't think Solar retrieved them >.<
2. LAG!! Ferians everywhere, but I don't want to genocide.
3. I mined 3/4ths of the system, but gave up since we can't get decent rins out of it anyways.
4. What is this?!?!? how did we get to 200000 to 20000 credits?!?!
5. Rama upgraded with ion disruptor and new armor. He seems to like the Katana better though. (and I tried to install a Lazarus on him but that... failed :( )
6. Yes, there is a random Ranx Outpost still alive. I didn't want to kill it with all the lag though :/
7. I have NO CLUE whatsoever how we can still encounter mining outlaws where we also encounter the Ares. It was... weird. Fighting ion one battle and then encountering kinetic the next...
8. CSC missions. Solar, did you do them? I spent most of my time carting the ~800 ton stash from one system to the next and selling the ores to the Ringers. Sadly, we only got ~20000 rin. On the plus side, we do have Octocarbide now :D
9. Who's going to do the Huaramarca storyline? We've already befriended the Huari, but I don't know if we want to go back... :/
10. Since we're nearing the end of this succession, I'm also thinking about other extensions we can add to the next succession. Discussion thread is here.

Nah, I dislike Autons :P

I don't know where all of those credits went but I did stake out the Ares for a while which cost a few thou in fuel 20ish maybe?

I didn't do any because the CSC in my part was hospital, which didn't seem to have missions...?

Sorry, this week was full. I'll do two more systems when I take a turn.
Yeah, the 2nd one is not permadeath, so we might start that one soon.

Uggh, still going. Trying to sell some ore to ringers and cure a system of lag. If anyone else wants to deal with hauling badly, get the save from rpc, otherwise I'm going to continue trying to sell crap to the ringers in some number of hours when I get back home.

And so is a varient xml file. I patched Empty Wrecks Explode and my modified scuttle mod into that file, since I was trying to clear out lag of doom. It just overwrites two base entities with nearly identical versions, so you should be able to continue playing without it if you want.


Don't have energy for a full writeup. >9000 items in stash we're sitting on. Sell the 100+ whateveritis gas and as many level 4+ to the ringers, who have two stations in this system (and two in the one before, but I already sold some there). Sell the lv 1-3 ore and any other crap to the CW station if you feel like.

Next system is cleaned too. Four statses on sun: ore, equip, usables, junk. Sell/buy whatever you can (im90 in the taikon shop), move stuff around, and head to the system after that for real adventure.

We have a TON of fuel now. I've been storing some higher level fuels on rama, but I think we have too many for that now. I've also been giving him the armor repair kits and such. We're up on those despite my using them all due mostly to random ranx ambushes.

I think we have 40-50k credits and 5-10k rin even after my repair costs.

I bought some mules. One died to a ranx ambush and stupidity :[ ... but was empty. I mainly used them to consolidate items. I suggest leaving them in cleared systems for help moving stashes, esp. if you want to use combat autons. Just find the individual unit commands key. I didn't have any trouble letting them sit by a stargate while I wasn't in the system. (plus, if they're parked somewhere in a system, you can gate in, order->form up, gate out, and they'll still follow you).

The black market in the current system is hostile due to the ferian swarm going right through them while we were shooting. They're really annoying. You can blow the station for all I care, just didn't feel like trying to mess with that much mag spam.

Moved some of the useful items from the piror system up to this stash, too.

BTW, named ore is actually a bigger resource drain than the ferians afaict. Collecting all the ore solved more than killing all the ferians. And there were, btw, 5-6 ferian colonies in that system, several of which had ships over and entire asteroid belt.

I looked at the code the other day and it looks like named ore creates and deletes a station every tick for the labeling. It might need a distance limiter added in unless i'm missing something.

OH! BTW, the idiot adv. repair bot got damaged! It jumped out just before I took damage in a firefight and got hit :\. (luckily i only let the patch spider get damaged once, before the adv. bot got damaged, so it's still working) I guess we need to wait to get a second one and then pull it back out to get reparied (its stowed on Rama's ship, too.)

Now includes that xml file I mentioned in the archive.

So, Solar didn't want to sell stuff and said I should, so I flew around and moved crap around and everything. We now have a 1.2gw Hyperion reactor (thanks domina, also blessed the WMD weapon we have), 250k credits, and 35k (i think) rin.

Oh, and I used two of the halo gems to go back half the game and pick up an extra adv. repair droid in an outfitters that Captain's Log remembered. So we now have two advanced droids and 3 patch spiders.

Oh yeah, random ranx dreadnought I ran into while upgrading the reactors, dropped two broken patch spiders, a undamaged kiloton cannon, and some other crap. Plus got 100+ micronukes off a polar on my way to park the ship. Moved all the good stuff up to the sun cache in eta ceti and left the mules there for the next person who feels like hauling crap around kingdom come.

Ok, a relatively long turn, sorry about that (aforementioned computer issues and stuff)
OOC story sorry
Basically ran round the system for a bit, Captains Log apparently auto-detects CSC's (makes sense I guess) so I went and found that relatively early. Lots of interesting stuff for sale (still), one of the Ringers has an alien weapon, at 100k Rin sadly.
Rama got himself killed, contact me (preferably on IRC) for the full tale of idiocy (on his part).
Ranx Dreadnaughts apparently breed like rabbits, so we have a gajillion kiloton cannons and shells in the cache in previous system, as well as reasonable amounts of fuel, and an absolute GLUT of Patch Spiders. Seriously. We have 10.
Pinged a few Ares Convoys, nothing special but some alright stuff there too.
Played a round a lot with weapons as you will notice, there's plenty back in the cache (including the plasma torch, so don't stress).
Did a couple of CSC missions, failed a couple due to @#$! RNG so have left that to the next player (my vote is keep going until we have a bigger gun (nobody sell APA's if we find them), THEN go back and do CSC missions.
Speaking of missions, someone should do Huamaraca, we have a couple of longzhu's for ammo if thats an issue.
Cache has lots of interesting goodies as well, detailed in log of relevant system.
StarWeaver should have file soon to upload!

Now back to Elysium and carting stuff will be a lot easier in my run :D
