Anyone use left/right for scrolling the item lists?

I'm asking this because these built-in keybinds are currently blocking nextKey/prevKey actions on item-list type screens. To me, the nextKey type actions are more important than the scrolling function, since I didn't even know you could use left/right for that. What does everyone else think?

I use left and right keys for ship select menus such as gladiator select at Battle Arena. Selection uses nextKey and prevKey.

I use up and down keys for the neurohack mission in Heretic, which use nextKey and prevKey for virus control.

For item picker, I use up and down keys to select items.

It would be nice to have alternatives to nextKey and prevKey that is bound to a single arrow key. That is, upKey, downKey, leftKey, and rightKey. This would give modders better control with custom interactive dockscreens.
