It would be nice to have a personal status screen. Maybe in the ship menu.
It could show various ranks, crimes, and some fun stats like fuel used and time spent.

Ah, this is one idea that can easily be modded! 
In fact, it's already on my list of mods to do. For RPG purposes the "status screen" could be called the ships computer.
