give ideas for the game 8)
a lot of my ideas tend tword modding ability.

We need to compromise and still stay true with what parts of the game we like and understand when our ideas aren't feasable or just are not with the spirit of the game (what is that is debatable but that needs to go in a seperate thread not every other thread).
Crying is not a proper retort!

Ok, I'm trying to make the game the best game it can be.

I figure everyone here is trying to do that, more or less, (and giving ideas is a part of that, of course) so everyone is pretty much rowing in the same direction, or at least trying to.

I like the spirit of what you said there. But I think you're wrong on the details.

First off, it's not about "compromise"; it's about what works best for the game. For instance: if one person wants things one way and another wants things another way, there is no need to compromise and make some sort of halfway implementation that uses the idea of both people.

However, since it's a digital game, there is a way to "compromise" that's not possible in other situations: options. Then I can set things my way and you can set things your way and we're both happy while playing the same game. I'm a big advocate of options. But there's an interesting thing about options... they're not really a compromise; they're better! They're more like a win-win situation.

Yeah, options rule!

p.s. As for the "spirit of the game", well everyone's got their own opinion on that one... yeah, that should go in it's own thread... twould be useful to see what people have to say about that.

p.p.s. Ah, the spirit thread has already been made! Nicely done, B:
