Ok, I just wanted to talk about this before starting up Succ #5.

BEFORE POLLING BEGINS
I will start the poll in 3 days, and there will be 3 days of voting.
In the first 3 days, I will give potential players an opportunity to name a mod they would like to see in the succession. I will add that to the list. Once 3 days have passed, I will start the poll, voting will commence, and hopefully we will start the succession on the 7th day.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POLL
Vote "Yes" if you want that option for Succ V5.
If a majority want that option I'll do it.

VOTING FOR MODS
Just scroll down through the list of mods and vote for which ones you want. The top X mods get chucked into the succession. If you want to add a mod that isn't on the list, make a post suggesting so.

After this, I will make a new thread for Succession #5 so we can get rid of the poll at the top of all the pages of the thread.

Blackmarket Expansion kicks metaphorical ass and literal ass, along with some psychological and emotional ass.
So in other words I am requesting Blackmarket Expansion to be included to the amount of ass-kicking power.

You seem to have put "Extreme Iocrym" twice there, and in any case would it not be theoretically possible to simply combine that and the glassy Iocrym GFX?

I would like to request the following mods:
Auton Assembly Hangar
Identify Before Buying or selling
And the controversial one: Starbridge Playership PSD compatible
I also want to suggest my first mod which I have actually uploaded: Improved Tinkers :D

I think that we should have anywhere between 20 and 40 mods, but take special consideration and possibly exclude those mods which have been causes of crashes and bugs in the past, also: I don't feel like we really Need over a thousand different weapon types and variants, sure something extended over the default weapons is nice and useful, but I don't want to be drowning the cargohold in practically useless gag variants of level I to V laser and kinetic weapons...

P.S. could you make a poll, like last time, I think we'd all find it much easier to vote that way.

I am voting for Weapons Extended 5 on the condition that we also have Identify before buying or selling. if after a while there seems to be little interest in that mod, I shall recast that vote.
(no offence, I just hate having to waste a long time clearing my cargohold of unknown weapons)

Edit: I found out that WE5 includes the nodocknavbeacons mod in the miscfixes.xml

I am rushing to get Items 912 v5 done and uploaded to Xelerus by tomorrow. Hopefully, that will not be too late to include (assuming Items912 is included).

UPDATE: Finished and ready!
Download and Play in 1.9 beta 1...
Drake Technologies (Alpha): More hardware for combat in parts 1 and 2!
Star Castle Arcade: Play a classic arcade game adventure, with or without more features (like powerups)!
Playership Drones: Buy or restore exotic ships to command!

Other playable mods from 1.8 and 1.7, waiting to be updated...
Godmode v3 (WIP): Dev/cheat tool compatible with D&O parts 1 or 2.

I've recieved word from PM that he will update Playership Drones tomorrow, so I will postpone the Succession until then. In the meanwhile, this is the modlist, and tentative Extensions link.

Cut mods (and reasons why):
Banks:
We ended up with too much money on Succession #4 that we could have bought up all of Human Space if we wanted.
Reactors Extended 2:
Some of the higher end reactors are almost impossible to get.
Starburn Autons:
WE5 and Items 912 makes it almost impossible to use items without getting the se screen cluttered.
Test Drive:
We don't really use this, and I think random weapon drops will suffice (Since we don't find most of our time spent on buying weapons anyways).

A couple notes:
-I'm going to miss the Paper Fleet, it will be hard to find allies in the Outer Realm (barring the friendly Dynamic Systems CSCs). The inclusion of SI CMS might mitigate this issue.
-I'm also going to miss gravity again, without gravity we'll have to chase down all the wrecks instead of letting them pile up at planets.
-I also haven't tried PM's Auton Assembly Hangar because I thought PSD ships would cover all my wingman needs. I guess we'll see about that.
-Why is Captain's Log getting so many votes? We haven't been using it at all o.o
-Configure screen is also kinda weird to use and I liked Bobby's Cargo Summary better.
-Yay the Agauptera is back :D
-Fellow Pilgrims is going to be fun... >:D

*edit: Anybody want to suggest a starter playership? I might start this succession as a Zulu....
