Edit: Done the save can be had Here
(careful two failed freighter missions in a row if we lose a third one we lose the rest of the CW Fleet questline)
Otherwise have fun!
Exactly, I could work with the setup, I just did not understand anything about it or what I could get rid of. I didn't have any idea what I was doing because I didn't know what I could actually do without messing up the plan. Of course a freighter is too slow for me, but I could work with the setup as long as I can customize it and play to my liking.Autohummer wrote:Agreed. Figuring out what loot/mess the previous player has left you with and making the best out of them is one of the charm of a succession game. I would appreciate more detailed write-up, though, I would recommend taking a screenshot any time something important/interesting happens and give a brief description. This way we can know what has happened beforehand, what new equipment has been acquired and what changes have been made to the ship, etc.
I use Gadwin Printscreen to take screenshots in png format for all my succ games and upload them on photobucket.
Let's just say I probably would not have messed with the Stock Market if RPC's first save did not leave the Constellation in such bad shape that combat was not a viable option. It did not take me long to figure out how the basics work, and break it wide open. It requires a couple hours of grinding if you start poor, but I find myself spending that much time mining several systems or sitting on stars with fragile solar armor for free fuel.Shrike wrote:I consider half the point of successions to be that people have to cope with what the previous player has left them to work with.
