Looking nice. The chimeric stuff looks suitably "this really shouldn't exist, but it's probably decent".
I do still wonder precisely how one attaches sheets of neutronium to a spaceship without tearing it apart under acceleration....

Mischievous local moderator. She/Her pronouns.
The first thing that jumps out is that those octagonal ones won't tile. You could overlap them like fish scales, but that would create a very distinct texture that the ships that use them don't have. Orichalc won't tile either.
Advanced Plasteel's outline very obviously does not match the image tiling. It really needs to go on a hexagonal plate that matches the texture hexagon.
Meteorsteel shows two tiles where everything else shows one.

Awesome !
Looking great so far !
Personally I would love to see the diamond lattice as a shiny dark mirror. Like an obsidian mirror.
Besides the joke the neutronium armor has a finite weight (20-30 tons/segment ? don't have source atm), so I imagine it like a very very thin sheet

with a lot of glue ?I do still wonder precisely how one attaches sheets of neutronium to a spaceship without tearing it apart under acceleration....
