Hello, i'm the small empire of the Mandalorians, I am looking to join the Pact. I am located to the North of Charmium and East of Felor's Capital Coronae Boreas Gate. I am being choked of expansion by Nor, who has taken almost all the free worlds near me.

Finnian and I both gave votes of "Yes" the last few time I asked if they could join. If Lord Reason votes the same, the Mandalorians are in.

Hmm, named after the mythical warriors of the Outer Rim, the only ones ever able to defeat the Jedi of ancient Earth on equal terms?
The Mandalorians can have my vote. You just better get serious with the exotroops later on

Hehe.
Perhaps someday he will be able to defeat us all. After all, everyone will eventually have to go the way of the Human Imperium.
Btw Lord Mandalor, one of the planets you conquered in the dark nebula used to be my hexcarbide world for that cluster. Could you not take quite so much advantage of my rebelling worlds to make up for the 15 Eldritch per watch I'm now losing? There's open space at the southern border of the galaxy beneath you if you want to expand.

Eh, it's all right. You couldn't have known. My cluster isn't too fond of Felor rule and I have to work pretty hard to keep them under control.

Charminium, I don't mean to be rude, but can you please move your explorers off my planets?

Well, even though it's been reported in the Stargazer bulletin, it's still strange to me that I am now one of the Great Powers of the Galaxy. Before I continue, I present a map that shows almost all of my domain. A little bit in the Utter East is cut off, but this won't effect the political discussions that follows (sorry for the big image, if anyone knows how to put an imgur link inside a spoiler on this forum please pm me):

Anyway, that's the Republic of Reason. For all you Galactic History fans out there, before the First Galactic War (about ten days ago) all my Clusters (sorry, going to be using the word "Clusters" a lot during this post) were in the North East. "Earth", the capital of the United Earth Directorate is roughly in the middle of where these used to be.
During the war I lost 5/6 Clusters, with only the one built around my capital of New Mars remaining. Still, despite the terrible loss of all 6 million of my Eldritch jumpfleet and half of my 200,000 Exotroops (which actually defected to Bismalia when they arrived to the defense of a capital on the same watch as it was captured) I managed to scrape together a ragtag fleet of jumpships and remaining Exotroops and used this to create the Clusters you see today. Since I had so many worlds in the West after the war and the remains of my Eastern Clusters were completely filled with messages telling me about all the horrible things that had happened there, I decided to focus my efforts on the West. For sentimentality's sake I decided to rebuild the Cluster directly North of my capital.
So now I have nine Clusters, the Nine Clusters of the Republic of Reason! Well, 8.5. The New Arcadia Cluster, just to the West of the Accipter capital "Cubentque" is still under construction. It should be finished soon, the worlds within it's reach belong to a defunct rebel AI mini-empire called the Ancient Federation of Spathia and Riproviamo and the Finnians, both Pact members who I have agreements with.
"So, what's with all the bragging about the size of your empire?" I hear you ask. Well, at this point those of you who who spend more than a few % on their Imperial Intelligence Services will have noticed the gigantic red lines around my clusters. Fear not, the RoR hasn't developed post-tech mega forcefields that will enslave the galaxy forever. These lines merely represent the extent of my territorial claims. Since the war, I have already offered the worlds outside of these lines (the "Free Unconnected Worlds" or FUW) to members of the Pact who already have territory in the adjoining area , notably Riproviamo, Felor and Hallucination, only asking that they coordinate with each other in a reasonable way, so that each can expand into a solid power base without having to worry about landgrabs and silly amounts of overlapping worlds.
In light of the shortages of space and numerous small empires springing up, I extend the offer to all. The FUW are now for you too! *Ahem* I apologise. The Imperial scribe has been replaced. Please note, there are also some unconnected Bismalia worlds mixed in with these, but I wouldn't worry, they are remnants of the war. As a rule of thumb, if it's not connected with trade routes in the FUW area, it's ok to take it.
All I ask is that people stay out of my Clusters as marked and expand in a reasonable manner, from their sphere of influence outward, thus avoiding a gigantic galactic clusterfuck where people are struggling to balance their economies because a few empires spread out all over the place, leading a half dozen small wars. Because that would inevitably lead to me having to honour my Pact duties, and when it's war the Republic is always all in.
Now, Accipter. I don't desire vassals, but I can always use more friends. You can have my vote for membership. As you can see in the map, there's actually quiet a bit of space for you to expand into directly East of your Capital, including many FUW worlds. Felor has a small cluster to the North of this are, just South of the Bismalia capital of Sinalost. I'm sure the two of you can work something out.
Finally, now that all the galactic politics is done I turn to the reason I intended to post on this fine Galactic Forum: assistance to the smaller empires. Aside from territory as has already been discussed, I intend to offer material aid. This is an idea that was discussed between myself and the Finnians more that 30 cycles ago when the Pact was initially formed, but only now have I had the ability to implement it in a way that could actually work.
The idea is this, my Cluster that is under construction, New Arcadia, shall be dedicated to producing high-value-small-cargo-space materials that are useful but hard to produce for a small struggling empire. I think initially I will try Exoarmor, Light Jumpdrives, Advanced Jumpdrives and Luxuries. These will be delivered to an independent world near the importing empire, which I will capture and drop the goods off on. Then its up to the smaller empire to take the world/move the goods where they need them. There shall be no military capacity save for the imperial guard on the Capital, in case of disorder, and a pair of Warphantyards to support a dedicated transport fleet for the goods.

Alright, I am the leader of the new United Earth Directorate, established to replace the fallen Terran Dominion. The disguise was necessary to prevent Lord Charminium from seeking me out and destroying my capital. Again.
Unfortunately, I have destroyed the fleet of 100k explorers sent by the Republic of Reason to my capital. I assume it was nothing more than a minor loss, judging from the size of the Republic. Thought it was hostile before I read this post, sorry!
I am a returning Anacreon player from about 4-5 months ago (can't remember exactly), abdicating after a disastrous war with Dogeland and my Imperium of Man resulted in the loss of my unarmed mining and farming worlds. Went from over 200 worlds to less than 50 in one cycle. I did not want to recapture those worlds and set up trade routes again, so I just gave up. But now I'm back.
The galaxy looks really different now, with not much space for expansion. Hopefully I will be able to reestablish another massive empire. The Republic of Reason is indeed being reasonable in offering up their FUWs for colonization by new empires such as mine. I assume most of the worlds in my little northeast corner are up for grabs?

Don't worry about the Helions, the Pact has never really considered it an act of war to destroy explorers on a capital. Still, 100,000 is probably the most to go at once, but I understand how such a fleet can be threatening. It's ok, I have 4 million more.
And yes, those worlds are available, just work out some sort of fair border with Felor and Hallucination and stay out of the two Clusters.
