A short celebratory post commemorating the brief but spectacular Pact-Dogeland War. (Well, Hallucination/Felor-Dogeland War, at least.

)

Headlines:

~The Pact-Dogeland War begins and ends in burst of glorious fire! The Pact now dominates the galaxy!
~One of Nor's starfleets is attacked by HOA0004; HOA0004 renames his capital as a gigantic apology for all the galaxy to see.
~George once again checks on Anacreon!

We may have some new content to look forward to, and maybe even a server restart!

I abdicated. I felt like I had achieved everything that's currently achievable, and my empire had gotten so big that it was a pain in the butt to micromanage..

If you want a challenge, try taking down Caeruleus and Evo. They're both huge and are both suspected of enslaving little empires on first contact.

I would like to point out that Finnian started the Barricades Pact with the intent of being an, erm, United Nations of sorts in Anacreon, not a mob of huge blood-thirsty empires. I would also like to point out that the allegation of enslaving little empires is false. Evo just fiercely protects their territory, making the allegation more fitting into the 'propaganda' category. And if anything, the UN of the 21st century was against propaganda.

Second of all, I said "suspected". Geez, just trying to build suspense. (And my suspicion is not at all allayed by the enormous eldritch fleet right next to my new capital which was rather suggestively named "Attack Me and You Die". Guess I can kiss goodbye to that empire. Oh well, maybe I'll refound some other day.]

Thirdly, "started". Finnian was one of the first to suggest starting a war rather than responding to one.

This is correct. I want to remember that The Barricades were involved in three big conflicts:

1) Gal1 (Pact and Human against Bismalia)
2) Dogeland war (Hallucination and Felor against Dogeland)
3) Nor's battle (Nor against the Pact)

Of this three conflict only one (The Dogeland war) started by initiative of one of the members, applying our law number three.
