CHAPTER 3:- FOR YOU "THE CRIMSON BLAZE"
"Pick their butts off, son!" James cheered Wade, as he began to dispatch more and more of the Hornets. James could hardly believe that three years had past from the day he found Wade. He felt that he had known Wade his entire life. They were very similar in habits. James was taken aback when he saw Wade eat exactly as he did, sleep in the exact position he did, and even sing the same song in the bathroom! "Destiny had given birth to my son in another's womb" he believed.
On Wade's 19th birthday, he had bought him a Feryr. He didn't know what to do with those large sums of money sitting in his locker. He had remained single all his life. Now he had the chance to spend. Wade loved James so much. He had gotten all the love he had ever thirst for from James. He was now Wade Jayridge. And he planned to be a Jayridge till the end of time.
"Slugs away!" Wade's enthusiastic voice boomed as he picked off an Earthzone with his smartcannon. Wade was especially adept with the ship. The Freyr was agile, versatile, and stung hard. Additionally, it had a 20' arc mount for Raisermesser weapons. The Smartcannon he was wielding was, hence, super smart.
"Blips gone dad!" Wade boomed back, overlooking more that 15 wrecks, Archanists that had dared attack his father.
"I'll be heading home, then! You go do your escorting! That freighter is heading away as we speak!" James reminded his son.
"Wade! Where the f@%$ were you? We thought you left us!" the E2500's pilot boomed.
"Family buisne... Blips inbound!" Wade cried.
Two Corsairs headed towards the duo.
"Slugs away"
Six rounds erupted from the Feryr. Travelling very fast, they slammed into the first Corsair, destroying it. The left 3 rounds found their mark at the second one. Two hit. One miss. The pirate sniggered. Just then, the other round circled back and killed the Corsair for good.
"And here they go down!"
...
"Kolorev in sight! Thanks for the guarding, Wade!"
Wade landed on the station, and stormed straight to the station master.
"Hey Wade! How are we today?" he said.
"Just 875 creds, Matt!" Wade replied.
"Here you go! And be sure to check out the status screen. They have something for you, Journeyman!"
"Will do, Matty!"
Only one year on record, Wade had already reached Journeyman rank before they even knew he was there. He had even flown some missions with Volkov, the Kolorev legend. Volkov himself had given Wade his old Raisermesser Missile launcher, with a bunch of Gotha 10s no less.
"A missile barrage is only real, when from this launcher. You start this up, and the job is done before they know that you were there! The ammo is cheap too. Especially good for knifing and sniping!" Volkov had added in. Wade had used up three out of the 65 he had been given. A second, and three were out. They had clearly exterminated the target, a Viking. Armed with these, segaments of light blast plates, a S500 deflector, and his trusty fast firing smartcannon, Wade was the guy you didn't want to fight.
James had finally found that vein of ore he had been looking for. But he was not the only ones. Some outlaw miners were also making full use of that vein. James decided not to mess with them, and continue sincerely mining. A large piece of ore bumped into the ship, disabling its transmitter.
"Darn! I should contact Wade with the Emergency transmitter, and ask him to get a new one for us here!" He mumbled.
"OK dad!" Wade replied. He got the parts from the Kolorev mantainence, and hurried to his dad.
"We have confirmed sighting of those outlaw miners. They have been known to be in contact with the Pirate stronghold here. Your job is to exterminate them, and get the coords. Understood?"
"Yes sir!" a female voice replied.
The outlaws had just hauled in all they could. But suddenly, a stream of turbolazers hit a Hammerhead guard, and that blip vanished. Another stream made sure that the other one did not retaliate. A Wolfen came into sight.
"Got em!" the female voice boomed again.
James shrugged as he watched the dogfight continue.
The Wolfen rammed itself into one of the Borers. The cockpit hissed open, and a feminine figure, clad in Spectre armour rushed out. She tore through the ship, shooting as she went, into the cockpit. There, she found the captain at her mercy. She hit his groin repeatedly till he yielded, and shot him after she got the required intel.
"Now for the rest of you!"
She boarded her Wolfen back, and another volley made sure that all the Borers stayed down. Then, she diverted her attention towards James.
"Where are you going!" she yelled, as she opened up a barrage of Stilettos.
James never new what hit him. He died thinking when will Wade arrive. Suddenly, a flight of Corsairs approached. The pilot cursed and started to engage them.
Wade saw all. He saw his father die. His blood was burning. That Wolfen had to die.
"Hey Freyr! This is Capt. November Ceaser! Can you give me a hand?"
"November, huh? YOU ARE SO F*ING DEAD!"

CHAPTER 4:- THE OLD BLOOD
"WHAT?" Nova said in a casual tone, but the transmission was gone.
Wade closed his eyes for a moment. His time with his father came flooding back. All the love. All the happiness. And all of a sudden, it was all gone...
AND THE PERSON WHO DID THIS WAS TRYING TO KID WITH HIM?!
Wade felt his old pirate instincts rise. He had suppressed them always. Not this time. He gave way. He was crying like a maniac, but suddenly stopped. A crazed look came to his face. Eyes red shot. Epilepsy kicking in. Hatred...erupting!
"F*K YOU!" He yelled, and slammed on the weapon joystick like crazy.
A smartcannon, that is enhanced to fire faster, is crazy in itself. Give that to a maniac, and that turns insane.
All hell broke loose as powerful rounds tore towards the Wolfen. Nova, being naive, ignored them.
"Looks like the dude's finally decided on helping" she giggled.
Then she got hit...
"What the?" she yelled.
Her Osmk deflector was holding up, but it wouldn't last long before the pounding. The Corsairs flew before the stream of rounds could hit, and decided to spectate the battle.
"Whats your problem?" Nova barked, and diverted her fire from the fleeing Corsairs to the Freyr. She dodged as she could and started shooting the projectiles.
Wade's cockpit was overseeing only trails of smoke by the time he stopped. He had fired for 107 rounds straight. Nova was still standing, although her shield had suffered severely.
A silent standoff took place between the two...
And then...
The Corsairs fired. A couple of Vikings backed em down. They had decided to help Wade. And Wade was happy.
"Charon's honour..." he patched through to them.
"CHARON'S HONOUR!" they yelled back, accepting Wade as their own kin.
"Come in, Kortious!" a pirate began, "We have found an ally! We are on, lickin dat ComWealth pilot's asze!"
"This is the frigate Kortious! We got your message! Keep it up..." a calculated voice replied. The voice belonged to the captain of the Kortious, someone who had suffered a lot to get this position. He had all that he wanted. He was content.
"Roaches! This is your freakin captain speaking! Looks like our flight of twits made a new friend on its way! I'll keep you buggers posted! Out"
Wade flew through the swarm that had formed around him. The Corsairs had given way to Corsair IIs. Their missiles rushed towards the bewildered Nova, who was feverishly trying to shoot and dodge at the same time. Wade flew just 10m to her, and opened fire. Smartcannon rounds erupted like a fountain from the Freyr, adjusting at breakneck speeds to Nova's manuvers.
"@#$!!" Nova began, as she saw her shields drop at extreme rates. In 10 seconds, they were down by more than a 30%.
The united offensive of the Charon ships and that new pilot was forcing her to do what she didn't do ever before...retreat.
Her shields had collapsed before she had noticed. She stared wide eyed at the status screen as the scene unfolded before her. She was under a downpour of fire, and she was a sitting duck. With a jerk, she started to get even with her enemy. She targetted Wade first. As her cannons hit him, Wade smiled maniacally.
"My brothers! I owe you much for helping me out here!" Wade thundered!
"No problem!"
"Charon's honour!"
"Brothers don't thank their brothers! Shut up!"
Came the jubilant replies.
"But, this fight is now mine! Stay ahold, and shoot anything that moves around!"
Without a sound, the pirates obeyed.
"Its me and you, sucker!" Both Wade and Nova spat out at the same instance.
The dogfight was dirty. Smoke trails had enveloped them as a veil. They couldn't see what was happening outside, and vice versa. Nova had managed to knock Wade's shield out with Starbusts (she was now out of them), but she couldn't manage to pass anything through the stream of slugs heading her way. She dodged most. The hits hurt. Wade had the upperhand. He was easily able to shrug the lazers off, if they hit him. The smoke was thickening. Wade was getting out of ammo. Nova was slowly gaining ground. Then the stream of slugs suddenly stopped. Wade had run out of ammo.
Nova giggled. Backup, 5 Ronins had arrived. She would make quick game of Wade and then handle the pirates.
But then, Wade had an ace up his sleeve. The Gotha 10s. And then they too came.
"HELL!" Nova muttered. She called her backup to cover her. They thrust into the smoke. Only wrecks came out. The smoke vanished. Nova made her escape.
"Run while you can!" Wade began, "NOVEMBER!"
It turned out that the smoke was trails upon trails of revolving rounds of Wade. They had missed, and began rotating in an orbit around the duel. When the unsuspecting Ronins entered, they were exterminated in a flash.
The Corsair II were all that had remained to obey Wade. Others had been called back. They gave the salute as Wade incinerated his father's body.
"James Jayridge went down with his ship.
He is survived by a son, Wade."
The Kortious captain read the headlines.
"Long time, bro"

I'd be fibbing if I say that I wasn't getting impatient for this next chapter but honestly- the wait was well worth it.

CHAPTER 4 EPILOGUE

"Umm... Mister?" Wade began.
"Not 'Mister', Wade. You can call me 'father'." James cut him.
"Father..." Wade wondered, and broke down again. He couldn't help himself. The sudden kindness he had received, in response to his evildoings, had set him to a sort of mental unstability.
"Hush..." James comforted him.
"
Memories were rushing back to Wade. He was standing on the bridge of the Kortious, overlooking the pirates as they submitted their salutes in the Charon Pirate Stronghold. His former home.
"
"What is the meaning of power, father?" Wade had once asked James.
"Hmmm... Thats a tricky one! But I'll try my best son! Power refers to your ability! It is what changes 'what you want to do' to 'what you CAN do'! Thats the best I can answer."
"
"Power..." Wade mumbled, "I will get powerful father! So that I CAN kill her..."
"Well well! Look whose orphaned again!" Kortious' captain sniggered from behind. It was the first time Wade and him had made contact.
"Raul..." Wade replied emotionlessly.
"So you decided to throw your ass back at us?" Raul began.
No reply.
"I have heard that you kicked the CW's ass, brilliantly, if I may add"
No reply.
"... It was lonely without you here..."
No reply.

Raul gave him a bear hug before Wade could continue. Wade began to cry.
"I miss him so much Raul! I miss him!" Wade completely broke down.
"Don't you worry brother!" Raul began, and the station master started a transmission to the Fortress at Charon,
"She is going down! And WE are with you in it! She has bought the fight to us when she dared attack the father of on of our kin! Father, brothers! Some of you understand what he's going through! Losing a parent is like losing an arm! But it hurts more! It haunts!" Raul's passionate speech moved many.
Most of the people of the CW have an idea, a false one, that pirates are heartless hoplites. If they had heard Raul that day, and witnessed the assembly around them cry with Wade, they would have been moved too.
"BY ALL THAT I HOLD! BY MY VERY SOUL! I SWEAR TODAY THAT I, RAUL, CAPTAIN OF THE KORTIOUS, WILL NOT REST TILL I HAVE KILLED NOVEMBER CEASER, AND AVENGED OUR BROTHER!" Raul cried at the top of his voice. Wade was finally home.
"But first, let's remove your name from the memorial, shall we?" Raul beamed at Wade. And they walked away, Wade feeling way better. And Raul. Raul feeling complete.

"That dual Akan 30, with fast fire and projectile velocity enhancements. Its going into a Freyr..."
"Thats just an hour! No probs!"
"I will send someone to pick that up."
"Sure thing!"
The person cut the transmission, and after some more typing, was at it again.
"Rodrick. This me..."
"I know your ass, buddy!"
"Send someone to pick a shipment from Tinker Gard. In one hour."
"And then straight to you, right?"
"Negative. Its going to the Pirate Stronghold at the coords I'm sending you."
"T31 Transport it is then. But I warn you. Don't play with fire. You don't know what Anderson can do. He is already the second most supreme power in the CW. If he gets you, you ain't coming back!"
"Don't worry. Just do that."
"Alright."
"Hope that helps you, Wade... I'm sorry. Thats all I can do from here..." the calm voice spoke again.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. The person quickly, but gracefully, pulled his mask down, covering his whole face.
"I'm leaving the ROM her..." a voice began, but the door hissed open before he could finish.
"Here's your ROM, sir!" the courier handed it over and hurried away. The person walked back to the same room, and activated the ROM.
"By the authority of the Supreme Commander Anderson, you are called to the Ares front! You are to leave tomorrow morning! Good luck! Decker out!"
The person smiled. He calmly rose and walked to the Mess.
"One coffee. Strong." he ordered.

CHAPTER 5:- SUPERNOVA
"We have forwarded the coords to Kolorev. They are planning to destroy the Stronghold as we speak."
A strong voice spoke, "And you, November, are to join them..."
"And look for more coords, right?" Nova cut him. He gave a smile.
"My, you are smart! Now go, and assemble with them!"
"Yes sir!" Nova said.
Wade woke up with a start. He had a nightmare. He was trying to shoot down that Wolfen, but it was constantly shooting at his father, and his shots were always missing.
Then all came back to him. Raul arrived.
"Look who finally decided to wake up!" he taunted. Wade received it with a smile.
"Hey Raul!" he replied.
"We have got a mission! Looks like a T31 that was heading our way was held back by a meteor shower. Collect your ass! The Kortious is leaving in 10min!"
Wade collected himself, and rushed to his Freyr. The Freyr was all what was left behind, together with James' house.
"We are airbound!" Raul thundered.
"We are airbound."
The Kolorev task force leader, Nova, announced to the station master.
"You are good to go Major. Good hunting!" the station master replied.
The Kortious was a large pirate frigate. She had three primary batteries. One dual lazer cannon for picking individuals, and two lazer cannons for providing cover. It also had a NAMI launcher, not to mention a ton of starbursts and longbows.
It was a ship you wouldn't dare underestimate. It was topped only by the Kronosaur, the pirate top dog.
"You don't mess with my ship!" Raul declared.
"I wouldn't mind a duel" Wade replied.
"Hahaha!" they both erupt laughing.
"A frigate and and what we access as a Viking, have left the station. Nova. You are to break formation, and engage them!" the Kolorev station master declared.
"Thats no Viking, sir..." Nova said grimly, but didn't make further replies.
"Wadey! We are almos... WHAT THE F@$%?" Raul spat, as two Starbursts exploded near the duo.
"ITS HER!" Wades' eyes got red shot. It was his moment.
"That gal has a wrong timing" Raul began, and a stream of lazers made sure that the follow up Starbursts didn't reach them.
"I'll listen to you this time, Raul! Lets not bust this one up like last time!" Wade laughed with malice.
"You got it!" Raul cried.
And they began to move towards their approaching Wolfen.
"This is the last time I see you, Freyr" Nova cursed. She switched her primary weapon to her new ace. A Mark I howitzer. She activated her Howitzer Loader, and got ready for her enemies.
The two parties stood grimly. Face to face.
Volley...
Smartcannon rounds erupted from the Freyr, backed up by Starbursts from the Kortious. The combo was deadly. Nova fired a Starburst of her own. It started a chain reaction that destroyed the other Starbursts in the blast radius and vice versa.
Raul switched to foolproof Longbows, that hissed towards her at breakneck speeds. Nova dodged most, but the slugs started to get her. That veil of smoke began to form around her. The veil, in which 60 or so slugs were in pirsuit. She fired a Starburst, but the reaction pushed her back, right through the veil. Her shields had suffered severely. Down to half.
"Lets get her!" Raul cried, but suddenly Ronin backup appeared from behind the asteroids. 5 to be exact.
"I'll f@$% em! You go see her!" Wade shouted. And like lightning, his Freyr tore at the enemy. The Ronins opened up their turbolazers at Wade, who dodged them nimbly, and met them with a cloud of slugs. They travelled here and there, slamming into the enemies, and revolving if they missed. The Ronins bought it, and advanced closer and closer. Wade was accelerating for a collison, firing slugs constantly. But suddenly, Wade passed over their heads. The bewildered pilots halted.
It was their biggest mistake.
A large swarm of slugs, about 70, came from behind, and hit hard. 2 of the Ronins were gone, leaving behind 3 Ronins with broken engines and slaughtered shields. They were essentially sitting ducks.
The Dual Lazer of the Kortious was busy with Nova. One of the remaining was keeping her missiles at bay. The other one had decided to help Wade. Three Starbursts, together with a stream of lazers, travelled towards the helpless Ronins. They ejected beforehand. All of a sudden, a violent explosion blew the Ronins from existance.
"Now for you!" Wade cried. He accelerated to meet Nova with the same manuver. Nova knew it. She was expecting it. As soon as Wade same close to her, she gave a trumphiant smile, and fired a Howitzer shell.
They collied headfront.
The impact sent the light Freyr spinning away.

"You have been assigned to the Antartica." the ROM had declared.
"Tck. Oh Anderson..." a calm voice had answered.

If it not had been for the Blast Plate, Wade would have been a goner. His shield had collapsed nonetheless, but his Blast Plate had withstood the heavy shell. The recoil, and the impact, had pushed off both the combatants.
Nova's plan had been working exactly as planned. But she had excluded the possibility of Wade surviving her Howitzer. She was aghast as Wade took control of the ship again. Another flight of Ronins was keeping the Kortious busy. Wade was alone again. It was either him, or her. He started up his smartcannon. Nova released another shell. It tore through the slugs, and hit Wade. But it was severely underpowered because of the resistance it had faced. It just gave the Freyr a shrug. But the delays between each fire on this battlefield were deadly. The Howitzer had given Nova an opening in the slug stream, to adjust her course, and her shots. She now opened her Lazers, but two Gotha 10s knocked her off her feet. Raul was giving her a shot or two whenever he could. He was slowly grinding on his targets. Wade resumed his volley, but it was knocked out by another shell. This time, it died in the slug stream. Nova unleashed hell at Wade. She fired missiles and shells in quick successions. The shells paved a clear opening for the missiles to hit. Wade's Blast Plate was slowly giving way.
"Raul! I can use some help over here!" Wade cried. Raul understood and quickly sent Starbursts at Nova. It forced her to leave her comfty sniping position. A wave of slugs met her. And the projectiles from the Starbursts made sure that her shields stayed down.
"Raven lead! Send Raven 2 and 3 at that Freyr! I'm going to assist you guys!" Nova blasted.
"Roger! You heard her! Go!"
Two Ronins broke formation, persued by 3 Starbursts. Two of them missed. One broke their shields.
Nova observed the massive frigate as she approached. The infamous Kortious.
"You are going down today!" she muttered.
Raul saw her approach. One of the lazer cannons routed to her after destroying Raven 4. She had to take evasive manuvers.
Wade saw the two ships shudder by the impact. He saw his chance, and fired his slugs. He was running low. Down to 358 from 600.
The ships met the slugs head on by their Flensers. Wade laughed as his shields collapsed, but his blast plate shrugged the slugs off.
"My turn!" he sneered. A quick succession of rounds made sure that the Ronins were no more.
"Raven lead! Get me an opening!" Nova shreiked. "Roger"
Raven Lead pulled out a very dangerous manuver. He decided drop a missile close to the hull. And he was successful.
"Damn you!" Raul cried. He diverted all fire to Raven Lead, while Wade opened fire at Nove.
"Hm!" Nova laughed. That was an opening enough for her. She kept firing starbursts, and just a second before the slugs reached her, she planted a Howitzer shell deep into one of the most critical spot. The recoil carried her away from harm's way.
A frigate is "assembled". If you see correctly, you can see numerous gaps between the hull modules. These are critical points.
Raul's ship began to rock madly, as a quick succession of Starbursts began to clear the compartments underneath the armour. The Kortious had finally been cracked.
"Wade! They have cracked the hull! Just over the fuel line! Keep them off, or the weapons are going down!" Raul cried, as the Ravens began to pound around that very spot.
"Damn them! Ok Raul!" Wade advanced at dogfighting with the Ravens.
"No you aren't!" Nova boomed, and began pounding at Wade.
Wade lost her after putting some 20 slugs after her, while he aimed and destroyed a Raven. Now, only Lead was left. Wade was about to pelt him with Gotha 10s, but a Howitzer shell rocked him offcourse.
"Keep her off me Wade!" Raul shreiked as Starbursts made their way to the Kortious.
"I'm trying!" Wade replied, diverting his fire to Nova. He was running out of rounds. But he managed to land shots at Nova. But, Raven Lead was pelting him with Stilettos all the way. The Kortious was killing as much as she could, but they just kept coming.
"Main batteries down! We are just left with the missiles, and a lazer!" Raul growled impatiently, as another shell planted itself.
"F@$%!" Wade cursed. He launched 6 Gothas at Raven Lead. Enough. He was down. The pod went away.
"Keep digging at her!" Raul howled.
80 rounds. All that was left. Wade ran his cannon dry, with backup from Kortious. It made Nova take an evasive manuver.
"I'm docking for resupply!" Wade began.
"Ok!" Raul replied.
Wade docked, and was just about to reach the storage, when Nova fired the single shell she was left with.
The shot caused a violent explosion.
The force caused a small shard to break away. It went straight through Wade, missing his spine by a hair.
"Ahk.." Wade muttered as he fell down.

"Keep her off me Wade!" Raul shreiked as Starbursts made their way to the Kortious.
"I'm trying!" Wade replied, diverting his fire to Nova. He was running out of rounds. But he managed to land shots at Nova. But, Raven Lead was pelting him with Stilettos all the way. The Kortious was killing as much as she could, but they just kept coming.
"Main batteries down! We are just left with the missiles, and a lazer!" Raul growled impatiently, as another shell planted itself.
"F@$%!" Wade cursed. He launched 6 Gothas at Raven Lead. Enough. He was down. The pod went away.
"Keep digging at her!" Raul howled.
80 rounds. All that was left. Wade ran his cannon dry, with backup from Kortious. It made Nova take an evasive manuver.
"I'm docking for resupply!" Wade began.
"Ok!" Raul replied.
Wade docked, and was just about to reach the storage, when Nova fired the single shell she was left with.
The shot caused a violent explosion.
The force caused a small shard to break away. It went straight through Wade, missing his spine by a hair.
"Ahk.." Wade muttered as he fell down.
Meanwhile Nova planned to launch the single Reaper she had been given...

KINGDOM COME

"ABORT SHIP!" Raul boomed, "THE KORTIOUS IS GOING DOWN! FLEE! FLEE FOR YOU LIVES!" All the crew got into escape pods, and an Earthzone, and went away, towards the station.
"I can do it alone! Nah! With Wade!" Raul declared.
"Wade had docked many minutes ago! And he didn't come! Where the f@$% is he?" Raul wondered. He then took a bargain. He decided to put the lazer at autofire, and wander off to find Wade. He did that.
Raul found Wade in a pool of blood, a shard sunk deep into him.
"Wade!" Raul went pale. He grabbed a autoheal kit, and plunged it into Wade, after carefully removing the large slender shard. Wade shrieked.
"Our party has come to an end" Nova declared. She launched the deadly XM900 at the Kortious. Alarms howled. A transmission began.
"Kortious! Where are you? The Kolorev have assembled a heavy task force to take us down! The station is in chaos! Your presense is required ASAP!" the station master declared. Raul was devastated. He didn't know what to do.
Then, the Reaper hit.
The ship rocked very hard. The lazer was silent. Nova stood watch for future action of the vessel.
"Raul..." Wade mumbled.
"WADE! Wade, are you ok?" Raul replied, tears swelling in his eyes.
"Get...my Freyr...leave for the st...stronghold...I'll play with her till then..." Wade managed to mutter.
"You crazy? We are leaving together! You and me!" Raul began to cry, the blinking lights reflecting his tears.
"We can't... She'll get you... I'm sorry Raul... I wasn't...wasn't powerful enough..." Wade continued.
"..."
"Get me to the cockpit!" Wade cried with all his strength.
"Don't worry, Raul" Wade smiled at him, "Its a pirate's life for me!"
Raul heaved Wade to the cockpit.
"Signal me when you patch yourself in!" Wade said.
"OK!" Raul replied. He gave Wade a last bear hug.
"Take care brother!" Wade replied, "And you won't have to remove my name from the Martyr's list again!"
Raul left.
"Maybe I hit them too hard" Nova beamed.
"I'm in." Raul said.
"Take care. Go!" Wade said.
Wade patched himself through to Nova. They saw each other's face for the first time. Wade, his face stern, began to narrate his story...
"I was a former pirate, November. You forced me back in!" He began, firing starbursts at her. Nova was silent. Listening and dodging.
"I was leading a happy life. But I guess the CW likes destroying lives."
A Brute slammed into the hull, killing the thrusters.
"I'm sick of you!" Nova finally spat out. She fired a whole stream of starbursts. Wade was smiling. It bewildered her.
"You...killed my father..." Wade began, and told her the whole thing.
The missiles blasted.
She wanted them to stop.
Wanted to listen to him.
Wanted to make it clear.
Wanted to say that she was sorry.
"One last advice, Ceaser. The last advice my father gave me..." Wade continued.
Nova wanted to say something, but words escaped her.
"Revenge is a dish better served cold..." Wade declared.
The whole ship exploded to spacedust...
Nova sat in horror.

The last thing Wade saw was a giant explosion. Afterwards, it was all light. He was floating in a void. Suddenly, a spark took place, and he saw himself overlooking the whole galaxy. His eyes automatically drew towards the galactic core. And he rushed at it faster than anything he knew. Everything grew dark. And then it was light everywhere. Wade was lying on his back. There was nothing below him. It was all just bliss. Wade tried to move. He had no control over his body. It was dead. Then, suddenly, he saw James. He smiled at Wade, and offered his hand. Wade gained control of his arm. He took James' hand. James pulled. Wade stood up. Looking back, he saw his body. It was burning violet. He looked away. James motioned Wade to walk with him. Wade went away. He remembered an old stanza.
"The woods are beautiful, dark, and deep...
But I have promises to keep...
And miles to go before I sleep...
And miles to go before I sleep..."
